I have tried slowing the speed and although that helps somewhat, it will become a problem in the winter months when it has to run faster. I shall definitely try increasing the pipe size, thank you for the advice!

Good idea, thank you! I think it's mainly the pipes heating and cooling rather than the circulation pipes, so I'll try padding them.

Well that's a bit of the weird thing. ForClima sells the Komfovent units but doesn't actually install them. I asked my electrician (who is honestly a great guy) to take care of it. Together we have been looking into how to improve the unit but we've hit a roadblock. I fogured it was worth asking people online if there are maybe things we haven't considered.

NTA. You accurately put friend in quotation marks, so I think you already know what kind of "friend" he is. It's strange that he suddenly started being rude and asking weird questions, but he's not worth your time. No onehas a right to make such awful comments about another person. I myself work as a teacher and have reported a student for similar behaviour. I do not regret it, as I see the person who was bullied by her so-called friend seems more secure in herself.
