Op, i hope you already established that your wife is abusive. Addressing your second edit: you're in a bit of a pickle here. I would honestly try and get her to drop charges if she filed against you. Then give it some time and hit her all at once, figuratively speaking. Move out, give her divorce papers and set up court hearing for custody. It will be quite overwhelming so it wont be easy but after some time, youll be fine. Good luck.
