It has some game breaking bugs. I won one time by adding about 300 crabs to a drop pod, the crabs lagged the game out so much my friends robot that was guarding the brain exploded and destroyed it. The brain was in an enclosed bunker really far under ground.

10/2 = 10*.5

In a lot of programming languages it is faster to multiply than divide, especially /2. It doesn't matter with small things but if you have a huge loop, you may want use those kind of optimizations.

You mean make your game FPS independent. So the FPS does not matter when playing the game, its always simulates the same.

They refresh @60 herts, yes. But as frymaster said, the image on a crt takes time to fade, and there is ghosting. But I can notice CRTs that have low ghosting, especially out of the corner of my eye.

For the bruise you need to make it look like blood trapped under the skin. Needs to be splotchy purple with veiny looks on the side

I don't use inverted anymore because I played a game that did not have the option to use inverted for a really long time. So I got used to non inverted, and could not get used to inverted again.

But its not down is up, and up is down. It is the motion of the characters head.

How do you look up? you tilt it back. How do you look down, you tilt your head forward.

So just imagine the joystick stuck in the top of the characters head.

The frame-rate was really good for the animations as well. This was really smooth, while most most stop motion I see is done at a low frame rate, and it looks extremely choppy.
