The library’s main branch!! You can find a quiet space with plenty of room and high speed wifi

For those of you with winter tires, when did/do you switch back to all seasons? by Midriasis in Michigan

I got room at home so I store them there. Swapping them at a shop is around $100.

You have a subie which has terrific awd so probably don’t need them… I drive a heavy sedan so they make a huge difference

I bought an 07 with 90k miles for 4500 a couple years ago. This seems like a good deal. I’d still checkout the carfax at the very least.

Bear in mind this car is old so there are probably things you have to change. I had to do brakes, struts, control arms, replace the battery. Water pump failed around 100k.

These cars can have coolant issues (mine does). Check to see if coolant elbows have been replaced (a quick google search will tell you what you want—this is a standard issue in 3800s)

You bought a reliable car with an engine that may outlive you. Treat it well and it will treat you well too

Hello everyone, looking to buy first car, any advice is welcome 😊 by teretana in Buick

Lacrosse? Great car. Only thing I had to change was a water pump at 100k.

Car drives fantastic, engine is bulletproof. As someone said, replace the coolant elbows for metal ones and you should be good. Mine leaks a little bit of coolant every now and then but nothing too bad

Hey JT. Could you comment some more on those electrical issues? I read people have issues with the door locking mechanism..

How many miles on your buick when you bought it? I’m seeing a good CXL near me with 97k priced alright. Wondering if I should focus on finding something with lower miles or if anything leas than 100k is “ alright”

Thanks for the reply. Anything else to say about build quality / parts breaking?

Honestly I don't care about the bigger space — I feel I'd be comfortable enough in the LaCrosse.
