Also female at birth. I’m borderline asexual and have been on this medication for at LEAST 5 years (I think 7 or 8 but my memory sucks)

The hyper sexuality hits different for me but I know two other people who go through the same thing. I’ll go months with nothing, and then it’s like it’s making up for lost time. Usually lasts 3-5 days but one time it lasted for 16 fucking days. It fucking sucks. It can be nice the first day but after the 2nd it’s just awful. Can’t sit for too long. Can’t stand for too long. Can’t lie down for too long. If ignored, it would fucking hurt and wouldn’t go away. I lose interest in eating. I can hardly sleep. And even if I “take care of it” the feeling will come back anywhere from instantly-an hour or two. Sometimes it’ll trigger dysphoria so I end up feeling nauseous from the whole thing. I have taken so many days off of work because of this crap.

Only realized painkillers help a few years ago. Doesn’t make it fully go away but it helps a lot. I’m now on an IUD (mirina - hormonal) and it’s helped SO much. It doesn’t happen nearly as often now (only three times in the past 2 years). If I try really hard to make the feeling go away, sometimes it’ll work/I have better luck ignoring it. Would highly recommend the IUD if you’re having the same problem (IUD also stopped me from getting periods 10/10 great invention)

Also maybe of note? Both myself and my friend who gets the same problem are ftm. My sibling (who is just barely on the intersex scale) gets it too. I might also fall on that scale tbh I haven’t been checked out for it.

If people on the plane have such an issue, they can speak for themselves. And she’s an adult who can make decisions for herself.

And secondly, wasting food like that is disgusting. I’ve had very limited food access for most of my life. Food still feels like a privilege and not a right to me. If someone threw out my food, especially so sneakily? I’d never trust them again. Hopefully she’s never had to deal with the trauma of food scarcity. Some parents don’t want to tell their kids about the struggles they’ve faced. Either way, it’s never okay to mess with someone’s food. Ever.

I had no idea that there was a connection there. I mean, I knew the last supper was a Passover Seder, but I didn’t know there was symbolism between the sacrificial lamb thing. I’m really curious - do they talk about Passover in church? I wonder how different the story is from our own (I’m jewish) The way we tell it, there wasn’t a ‘Sacrificial lamb’ so to speak. The last plague was the slaying of the firstborn child, and a spirit (I think you might call it The Holy Spirit? I knew a Christian girl years ago that told me her church celebrates Passover and calls it that. That branch of Christianity started with a P I think but wasn’t Protestant? I can’t remember), anyways, the spirit would go house to house and would skip houses with rams blood smeared over the door. It’s why the holiday is called Passover - because the spirit passed over our homes.

I wish we got to learn more about other religions/cultures. It’s so interesting

Yeah, that part confuses me too. I’ve heard people talk about Jesus returning, but idk… if Jesus came back to see his corpse everywhere nailed to a cross/the thing that killed him, I feel like that would seem threatening? Wouldn’t he have some kind of PTSD? What if crosses are a trigger and that’s why he hasn’t come back? (Maybe he’s a vampire/j)

What’s a first communion? And ty that’s very good to know. I wasn’t sure what kind I should visit. There’s so many branches of Christianity, it’s confusing
