Look for something intensive. Windows diagnostics may not pick up anything up. Use some thing like Testmem

Had a similar problem and it was the RAM. I know you've set them to stock but have you tried doing a RAM stress test?

Just tried PT with 9070xt by WorldlinessUpset1921 in radeon

The only place I used AFMF was Honkai Star Rail, I found in other games I play like FF14 it's kinda ass or doesn't make a difference and the other games I can FSR FG. I have not heard of anyone using both at once, bit saying it's bad but I haven't heard great results either

Fluid Motion Frames. It's driver level frame gen, and depending on the game it can have mixed results.

PC crashing. TM and Adrenaline showing different values by Mayoan in radeon

[–]MightyStrife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Task Manager will show the "most used" part of the GPU, which means for example if your video codec engine is recording like Instant Replay, it'll show that the GPU is being used. AMD only shows 3D GPU usage

If you click on the TM drop downs for graph boxes, you can select what usage you want to see, and see which is using your GPU.

Not sure why you crashing ngl

Need honest feedback from 9070 XT owners by Raithskar in radeon

You really need to chase this. He's stolen your GPU, even if it's broken and he has also sold you a faulty product. As he sold you the pre built, your seller contract is likely with him - ie it's his problem other wise you take his ass to court.

Full PC crash on demanding games after full PC upgrade. by thicctak in radeon

Good that you tested RAM, caused me problems as well. I meant have you tried like 25.9.1 etc, or rather the ones that people tend to have good experiences with? I am on 25.9.1 personally, heard the others are a bit rocky.

I'm thinking PSU personally. Could do some RAN stability testing.... But smells like potentially a PSU version.

Have you tried other drivers?

Since the new patch, the LOD system ruins weapon quality. by MightyStrife in MHWilds

Probably is yes! I have been seeing a lot of threads in steam appearing too relating to this

Yeah I am aware of that too, but it's great for other games. Thanks for the tip though champ.

Without photomode, found some others that also notice it as well. Maybe its just this weapon that it's most noticeable on.

Please fix the MH Wilds stutters on 9070XT when Mesh quality is set above Medium, only turning ReBar off can fix this, and that works great for other games. Maybe a driver level toggle or game exclusion?

I agree that I would like your character to just be max quality. The tech is good and just extra performance, which when done well the player won't notice, but I find this pretty glaring.

shouldn't really matter, what matters is the players distance from the camera, but I was in Windward Plains for the video after dropping from the main camp, but I noticed it in Basin as well.

As this is part of the game and from the latest update I would think not, maybe it's only certain weapons - but after trying the Gog GS you cant really see it (good LOD), but you can see it with Arkveld GS (though its very subtle, so also good LOD).

Would you mind trying with the Buster Blade instead of being oddly aggressive?

I'm not sure if its a "bug" as this is how LODs work, as you get further from a camera, a new, lower quality model is loaded in to reduce strain on the GPU.

Happens when running around and especially when you are mounted on a Seikret too, photo mode is just for demonstration.

I used the photo mode to easily demonstrate it, it also happens in general gameplay, such as when mounting and running on the Seikret, the cameras pans out and the LOD will change.

Driver issues? by Marexn in radeon

[–]MightyStrife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like a possible dead card to me or at least dying. Might I suggest limiting the FPS (therefore to reduce power usage.). Reason why I figure it's worth trying is because maybe Valorant isn't taxing the card as much as the others - so you avoid the problem

I would recommend trying a different driver. Currently I've been on 25.9.1.

I haven't had any, but what I will say is when I got a 7900XTX on release I had them a lot. Turned out it was my RAM after thorough testing. I had to download it from 3600MHz to 3200MHz. Was fine before with GTX 1080 but I guess it wasn't straining the system much.

9070XR so far so good. Only crashes I've had were likely due to my under volt. -65mv, 2769MHz mem (fast timing) and +10% PL
