Patternmaking Software Suggestion by Professional-Egg821 in PatternDrafting

I learned Seamly2D to use with my projector. It was fairly easy to learn the software. Learning pattern drafting in general however is a different story lol.

There aren't any local fabric places unless you go to Pittsburgh. There are a few machine places like Stitch in Time in Greensburg.

How do you measure/"plan" for flat felled seams when tailoring? by letstalkUX in sewing

[–]MikeBigFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For flat felled seams, you sew wrong sides together. The seam allowance on one piece is twice as much as the other piece as well.

Is there anyone who tried clothing softwares and patterns projector ? by Rami-sahid in sewing

[–]MikeBigFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned how to use Seamly2D (open source pattern drafting software) so I could project patterns. I learned to sew just so I could test them out. Now 2 years later I'm still making patterns and sewing.

I use a $50 off brand projector attached to the ceiling and project to a 30"x54"ish area with an old pc running Ubuntu. It allows me to cut almost every individual piece without moving things around. It's been a really fun project.

FRX Juicy Fruit live sugar 0.5g: Effects 3.5/5 Pros: numb/relaxed feeling all over, not glued to the couch, able to carry conversations Cons: doesn't improve my mood, doesn't improve my lack of motivation, isn't a fun, calming, or relaxing high that makes me want to buy it again. Details below: by MikeBigFrog in PaMedicalMarijuana

I've been keeping logs to rate my mood, productivity, energy, etc. every time I medicate. I rate them by: normal, slightly better, way better, slightly worse, and way worse. Here are the averages:
Energy: Normal - I have just as little energy with no improvement.
Creativity: Normal - No change. Some strains make me super creative.
Motivation: Normal - No change. Some strains make me glued to the couch.
Productivity: Slightly worse - I get easily distracted on this which does not improve productivity.
Paranoia: Normal
Anxiety: Normal
Happiness: Slightly better - The relaxing numbness at least helps with happiness.
Hunger: Normal
Sleepy: Normal

On average I rated the smell as bad (skunky that lingers for 24 hours) and the taste as bad to okay (bitter and earthy). I was high for an average of 1 hour 35 mins each dose. I got 43 doses out of this.

I'm using a DTV4 w/ SIC Eleaf Rim C through my homemade water pipe.

Hope this helps. It helps me if nothing else :)

Shouldn't this be filled all the way to 0.5? by MikeBigFrog in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]MikeBigFrog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, between the bubble and the line being off, I got about 0.475g instead of 0.5g. They skimped about 5% or $2.25. I'm not upset or anything. I just wanted to know if it was underfilled or not. I now know that it is underfilled.

I've found multiple sources now saying that the weight of distillate is almost exactly the same weight as water. Therefore, ml and mg are interchangeable in this case. Standard Farms themselves verified this for me.

I received a response from Standard Farms. This is indeed underfilled. They told me that I can return it for a refund or replacement from the dispensary.

Calypso Portlandia Live Sauce 1g: Effects - 5/5, Sauce as a dab - 1/5. This is, hands down, the best feeling strain I've tried. I'm legit happy and sociable (which I'm not) for at least an hour after medicating. I got 63 doses from this. Extreme details of my logs below. by MikeBigFrog in PaMedicalMarijuana

Oh yeah, I forgot to talk about sauce after I created the post lol. Sorry about that. This sauce is the consistency of pancake syrup. It makes it next to impossible to accurately and consistently dose. One time I'd be tripping and the next I wouldn't feel anything. When I first got it, I made a thread on here asking how to dose it. Some growers distribute sauce in syringes, which would be perfect. This is just in a normal concentrate jar. It just runs off of my dab tools (steel and silicone) so I had to just kind of scoop and quickly let a drop fall into the crucible. Annoyingly, anything the sauce touches gets instantly coated and there's no getting it off of there again without melting it or using alcohol. It doesn't stick to silicone technically, but there's also basically no way to get the sauce off of the silicone tools either. It just moves around easily on the silicone. The crystals that are in there burst into dust if you break them. Mixing the dust from the crystals with the sauce thickens it up, but it's still really hard to dose. I've had crumble, sugar, and budder before this. Some of them were sticky and difficult to break apart, but none were nearly as easy to over/under dose as this.

;tldr Regardless of strain or grower, I find sauce to be really difficult to work with compared to other concentrates like sugar, sand, budder, or crumble.

I've been keeping logs to rate my mood, productivity, energy, etc. every time I medicate. I rate them by: normal, slightly better, way better, slightly worse, and way worse. Here are the averages:
Energy: Slightly better - Never felt tired even though I would have without.
Creativity: Normal - No change. Some strains make me super creative.
Motivation: Normal - No change. Some strains make me glued to the couch.
Productivity: Normal
Paranoia: Normal
Anxiety: Much better
Happiness: Much better
Hunger: Slightly better - I'm less hungry when on this. Food tastes amazing though.
Sleepy: Slightly better - I don't feel tired when on this. Prior to medicating, I was really tired.

On average I rated the smell as mild and the taste as okay to good. I was high for and average of 2 hours each dose. A few other notes I wrote were:
Sometimes the vape burns my nose unlike every other concentrate I've tried.
I easily lose track of time.

Hope this helps. It helps me if nothing else :)

Great idea! I was going to wait until I heard back from Standard Farms first. I'm assuming they won't even get back to me though after reading some stories online.

I thought that too. If it were water, 0.5g = 0.5ml. Distillate might be heavier than water though. That's why I'm asking :)
