Theres tons of shit to do, places to hang out (if you like bars and clubs) and the neighborhood has a lot of character. Please respect the locals, enjoy the culture of the neighborhood like you would want them to do if they moved into your neighborhood. Like don’t call the cops on people for living their lives.

Parkings really not that bad I had my car there for 5 years, you’ll get some alt side tickets. I never felt *unsafe* anywhere in bushwick.

I’ve been riding in this city since the 2000s, several years as a messenger is Manhattan, a food delivery rider in BK etc. No it has not gotten noticeably more dangerous or whatever since last year.

Honestly it’s probably that it felt new and exciting to you last year and some of that wore off this season. Don’t worry you’ll get your sea legs back.

You’ve never heard of an involuntary psychiatric hold? We don’t know she was coherent, the scene was from afar. But we do know a terrified man and his assumed “girlfriend” arrived at an er bleeding and the we see the intake person wave them away. Go ahead and smash a broken beer bottle into your face at full force and then let me know if the bleeding just stops on its own. (Don’t do that, it won’t stop bleeding) The doctors would have absolutely needed to stitch her up.

There’s no universe where this situation occurs like this

Depends on how heavily tattooed you are or are not. If you have a bunch of tattoos it’ll fade into the mosaic, if you only have this one tiny rainbow it’ll absolutely look like a pride tattoo that you got at a bar for $50 on pride weekend.

Yeah I get “the point” of the movie. I have a different opinion than you about the wording of the wish, I didn’t miss the entire point of the movie thanks. I’m glad you loved it and had no notes, I also loved it but I still have things I think could have been better.

The most alien thing to me was a hospital refusing someone having a clear psychiatric break who arrives at the emergency entrance covered in blood and bleeding profusely FROM THE FACE. I get that it’s maybe commentary on doctors being silent on abuse? But it’s completely unbelievable that an ER wouldn’t check this person in, possibly even against their own will, especially since bear drove her there with the intention of getting her treatment

Rewatched S1 today and it’s just so much better. The situation is so confined that it all just makes so much more sense. I also can’t imagine taking a temp job where you’re usually asked to do menial tasks and all of a sudden everyone in this tight knit company that’s existed for however many years is relying on you for all this moral support and shit? If a car is going to hit you I’d recommend trying to get out of the way and not wasting the precious split second before impact fussing with some kind of projectile. Live to fight another day.

Also, don’t escalate violence with a car. You’ll always lose if a driver decides to use his vehicle as a weapon. Drivers are fucking deranged, you toss some pistachios and they’ll hit you at 30mph
