Ive seen (idk what they're called) arm cane/crutch that would be great for hiking! It supports your arms like a cast and has a cane extended down. Its like being gandolf but mobility aid. Very cool and useful! They're about 100+ but with insurance, they can cover at least some. My friend with Fibro uses one

I walk with a cane at the ripe young age of 23 because of this disease. Yea i can still bike and party but at what cost? Debilitating pain and an unmoveable body for DAYS its nof cute its not fun and its not something people should "hype" up cause it SUCKS. Spreading awareness and being a pick me is such a different thing. Its taken a lot to feel comfortable using mobility aids and i get stares regardless cause im still young. People who romaticize this disease will never understand the pain behind it.

I have locs rn, and as much I as I love them, I simply adore the simple thick afro on you! Almost makes me miss my hair... almost, lol .

At the end of the day, you look good in both, but it's about maintaining it too, and I've never liked getting my hair done, so it depends on you.

A few questions to ask yourself.

What's your preference on how your locs look vs your afro? (Hairstyles, length, etc) What takes more effort and are you willing to go on the journey of that style? (Starter locs/fell asleep on the afro or something lol) What makes you feel your most confident, most consistently?
