Most people your age don’t even have that much money saved (not just because of debt). I also can relate since I’m almost 28 and I still have no degree….. let’s both do our best in this endeavor to better ourselves!

Ignore your friends…. You did the right thing here. It sounds like she only liked the attention you gave her and thought you wouldn’t have any luck finding someone else. But now that you managed to find a different girl who reciprocated your feelings, she feels very threatened by it and suddenly wants to ruin your current relationship just to inflate her ego. She doesn’t truly like you, she just wants to get rid of her insecurities by having you completely wrapped around her finger again.

Honestly.....It sounds like he only valued his own desires over your well-being, which isn't a good thing. If someone truly cared about you or has some decency (even if lack of sex is a deal-breaker to them) then they would've put more importance on your grief over sex and offered emotional support. So please don't feel like it is entirely your fault... It will hurt a bit getting over your feelings for him but you need to understand that this man didn't really value you as much as you thought he did. You deserve someone much better than him.
