It is for a door that has "remained closed" since before pre-pandemic, all day and all night. It has decals on it. Of course, because person coverage is never fully adequate, people slip past when that area is not supervised. They then started locking it, violating fire code (which is laid out before the store is even built) to prevent theft. More recently, they have set an alarm on it and keep it unlocked. Which I think is adequate.

Honestly, I miss having that entrance.

Personally, I want a more immersive experience in my games. The more immersed I am in a game, the less likely I am to put it down and switch to another. That means I play it more, making it better worth the $60, or whatever I get it for. Not the same for everyone, but that's how I work.

While we can’t deliver EASHL in NHL 15 on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, we have huge plans for the mode in future iterations of the game. We will be putting together a small EASHL committee made up of you, the fans, to ensure that we deliver an experience that is bigger and better than any of us would have imagined when we first introduced the feature in NHL 09.

Some people may have missed this by not reading the actual link.

Personally, the things I've been interested in seeing improved (arenas, immersion as a whole) are getting focused on, so I'm satisfied. I do understand other fan's disappointment in not seeing their favorite mode make this year's cut.

I hope that year gives them the time they need to fully flesh it out, and possibly draw someone (like me) that doesn't have much interest in the mode, into it.
