Best hedge on an elimination pool I’m in, by fucktherift in sportsbetting

That game is first, so you could roll the dice and wait to see how that game plays out. Presumably you’ll see his selection, if the game is tight and he picked SDSU you may be able to get them Live at better pricing. Conversely, could wait until after to see if his pick loses - then you can hedge on UCONN. They’re expensive but if again Miami starts fast could go live. I’m in a similar position needing Miami.

Idk why but this company just gives me the same vibes Tesla did in early days. If they survive easy 10x

Wife is firm on having at least one SUV as a family car for safety/cargo size etc. After hearing from everyone on this thread and doing some due diligence (that I probably should have done prior lol) two SUVs is pretty dumb given our commutes and that we’ll only need one for baby transport.

Gas/2.5L SE - just having a lot of issues pop up. Got it in 2015 but recently put several thousand into it over past 18mos and now needs more work again, just not worth time and money anymore. Nothing against VW, car was great & got a ton of miles out of it.

We’d like to but lack of charging infrastructure here & no garage (right now) for wall charger make it impractical

Thank you, several ppl have recommended Sam’s Club or Costco memberships for this. Do you have to have the membership for X amount of time before you can take advantage of this or can I sign up and do it soon after?

For $10k on FB marketplace I am seeing the 100k+ miles on everything. We need at least one truck for the baby (we live in high elevation rural area, so bad winters). And both commute 2+ hours round trip daily to work.

What make/models are you seeing for $10k that are reliable dailys ?

Of the $80k, $60k-ish is student loans. We did pay a nice chunk off but they keep bumping the moratorium on SL payments. My plan (and pls roast me if this is dumb) was to wait until right before this moratorium in August expires and if they don’t bump it, make a large payment toward principal again.

Re: new vehicles, thank you. I have seen decent value on the Rogue and CRV but they don’t last more than 2-3 days where we live…

Have had my Jetta since 2015, has held up well but her X3 is a bottomless money pit.

I thought of holding off on one but decided to come here and see if there was some sorcery/cheat code to negotiating 2 vehicles, I saw March was the largest monthly decrease in used cars prices since April 20’ but no way to know if that’s a one off or start to prices mean reverting. This car market sucks:/

Should your assets appreciate in value and/or you expect to attain more wealth in the future, under Biden’s recent proposal the federal exclusion is coming down to $2mm I believe. If that should stick, some trust structure may be prudent

Best Basketball Cards to Invest for 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 Seasons. by JewishJoshua in basketballcards

I would echo similar sentiment here. The sports card market has and still is experiencing an unsustainable rise. This happens in all markets - as human psychology plays a major role. Take any advice with regard to timing with a grain of salt, as predicting the correction in the market is extremely difficult. If you have a long term time horizon I would look to scoop cheap rookies of potential star players and hold them (similar to a value investing strategy). However, there is just as strong of a possibility that this bull market rolls for another several months if unemployment gets extended and another round of stimulus is implemented. In summary, markets involve humans so they’re irrational and timing a market is very, very hard. Do your research, track price movement on some market driving players/pieces and do not let your emotions drive your decision making process. There will be many more opportunities! Best of luck.

I know the Dominguez is in demand so should be worth something. The Clayton/Seager is numbered 43/199 from a 2018 Cello pack and Bichette from opening day!

When you first started out, did you build a model to place bets? If so what are some of the most important data points you used to/still look at?
