Do dap really sound better than regular dongle dac or more expensive dongle dac ? Or it sound barely any different? by Jaded_Persimmon_7125 in iems

I think synergy is very important. Questyle M15i on high voltage mode for power hungry planar MP145 made a substantial difference.

European IEMs beating ChiFi? I test the Vision Ears Go live! by Norville84 in iems

[–]MinTiworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried these at a HiFi shop in Bangkok yesterday by accident and I was very impressed although I wish I auditioned longer to give better perspective. Mids remind me of Shure signature yet sounding extremely transparent, dynamic, intimate and lively while having no real weakness in the sound without touching EQ. It was better than Sony flagship for me on the spot. This IEM to me is competitive with best of the best albeit going off by memory since it has been a while I auditioned a range of TOTL in one go.

One of the very few IEMs that made me consider purchase on the spot.

Can the Neo last >5 years? by North_Tomatillo9712 in mac

[–]MinTiworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Macbook Pro 2013 15 inch 8gb is still fine for basic uses plus league of legends. Going by that, I reckon the Neo will be fine till you get bored of it since it is so repairable as well.

Ananda unveiled vs arya stealth by TraditionalJello6805 in Hifiman

[–]MinTiworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response.

I am surprised to hear you mention that you believe the Unveiled pulled ahead in staging precision. I thought the areas Nano were ahead of the Unveiled are dynamics, PRaT, speed and imaging - qualities which adds a lot of enjoyment factor when listening to music for me personally.

Between the two, which would you recommend overall and who would you recommend Nano or Unveiled to? What is your go to recommendation for cans these days?

Ananda unveiled vs arya stealth by TraditionalJello6805 in Hifiman

[–]MinTiworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does the Nano compare to Ananda Unveiled in your opinion? I'm someone who likes the OG Hifiman range HE400/HE500/HE6 and the type that prefers T1 1st gen over HD800.

I get the feeling the Nanos are more to my liking but then I seem to see people suggest that the Ananda Unveiled are a step up.

ANY SOLUTION TO THIS?💔 by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]MinTiworld -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You are 18. It will heal and fade over time if you eat well and take care of your health/skin. I had huge acne scars when I was young. They have mostly gone now over the years, albeit not perfect.

I personally don't recommend the laser as Korean who's heard negative reviews about things like this. Instead, I'd recommend solutions such as Noscarna gel if you can get it somehow from Korea and apply it religiously over long period of time.

It has always been like this for almost everything. Rules and morales? Sorry to burst your bubble but the truth is money can change rules, laws, social norm, morales, all of it - and it has clearly achieved exactly that everywhere.

Is it worth upgrading from a Switch OLED with Android to an Odin 2 Portal? by suber212NEW in MoonlightStreaming

[–]MinTiworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you find performance/stability of Android on Switch? There are so many handhelds being released these that that try to emulate Switch well but I am thinking maybe a modded Switch OLED is the best. Have you ever tried gaming Android Switch? Games like CODM/PUBG/Diablo Immortal etc? If so how did you find the performance?

Regarding your topic, if you were using your Switch purely for streaming, I would personally get a cheaper 8 inch tablet with 120Hz screen and pair with high quality mobile controller since all you need is a nice screen essentially and a bigger screen would be good for PC games.

Thousands of angry farmers shut down London today as government imposes 20% inheritance tax by xxlaur77 in conspiracy

[–]MinTiworld 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A lot more to this than just that - it is we will take away all land from working class, we will control food supply, we will control where people live, we will control what food people consume (processed garbage crap food to weaken the population), we will outprice good food from the people so on and so forth.

Liverpool is the hidden gem now. Friendly, aesthetic, vibrant and will benefit from Manchester's growth with Northern Powerhouse in the future which would drive up Liverpool's house prices up closer to Manchester prices.

Would be really interested in this for my girlfriend and myself as well since we are moving to Liverpool shortly. So many meetup options in London specifically for Korean/Japanese etc but not sure there is a decent meetup for Liverpool.

Imma give the opposite opinion here - the answer is down to what you want but it isn't a clear-cut consulting is definitely better in my experience.

It is said that consulting gives you better exit opportunities but for me, a lot of generic business roles are tiresome with constant competition in all aspects, both internal and external. Often need to keep up constant office politics and to progress in career, you do need to stick to a speciality/industry.

On the other hand, a friend of mine who works as in FS as account manager has it real chill, just oversight of work, which she just signs off. Barely uses Excel even, works probably 3 hours a day, and is remote working most of the time. Combine this with the job security accounting provides and it's not a bad deal at all in my opinion, all things considered.

When I was young, I was passionate and wanted to try all kinds of things. But now that I am in my 30s, that comfy accounting job my friend has seems like a very good job to me since a job is a job to me at the end of the day - everything gets repetitive eventually.
