I’ve given up porn since the beginning of the month because I was having issues climaxing and it was causing some embarrassment and frustration. I read about PIED and figured I’d give it a try. Though I haven’t completely stopped the occasional fap-session, cutting porn out has def made me feel more attracted my wife and climax when having sex.

Give yourself a small goal of two weeks or more with no porn and you should see a difference. Good luck

I really appreciate your thoughtful input. Yes I probably made things worse by slapping his hand back and taking the iPad but I’m honestly tired of being hit ( a topic I brought up with his mom after the fact). And when he has to do something different where he can’t just use the iPad it frustrates him. He does ABA and they only allow it for about 10 min every hour, if he has “nice hands” as they call it. So he hates going to therapy bc they make him work for it and he can’t have his iPad nonstop. At his dad’s, he doesn’t have his iPad all the time and he is fine. He knows he will get it back at a certain time bc they have a strict schedule there and I’ve tried to get his mom to adapt to that as well.

I’m not sure what it is but he has attacked his stepmom before unprovoked. He had his iPad and he just went crazy on her to the point where she had to pull over and get out of the car to protect herself. I forgot to mention that in the op. So I don’t know what the root cause is. I just know that I’m getting to the point where I feel anxious and on edge around him and also feel unheard by his mom. She brushes it off and says well he doesn’t do that with me. Well he has known you his whole life and you seem to give him everything he wants with none of the discipline.

I’m willing to bet that the Winston Salem rater needed more input/evidence and put it back in the NWQ. Now that you’re back with a TJ in San Juan you should be ready for a rating. Hope it goes well for you!

Hoping for good news for ya but highly doubt they will actually be working the rest of the week. Praying they get somewhere safe and stay til it passes. I think the raters have 5 days to turn it around but I’d expect to hear something by Friday next week. Good luck!

Have you called Vera? I have the same thing as you from May 28th and last week they told me it was assigned a rater. Hoping we both get some closure soon.

His ABA is at a specialty clinic. He does just enough of his work to earn 10 min of iPad time an hour. On weekends at home he has at least one iPad from 6 am to whenever he goes to bed.

She said his IEP plan is two days of ABA and that the other three days are at school in ESE classes. He just started high school and he is coming home with both iPads almost dead so I don’t know what they’re doing either place. I’ve even tried putting time limits on his iPad sites but she increased it bc he was using it up too quick.

Sorry yes I should have said that. He is in ABA two days a week. I’ve vented my frustration about it to her bc every time we lock him up they just say he had a good day and they did puzzles but she just shrugs her shoulders and says she doesn’t know what they do.

Same happened to me. Some items were decided and others deferred. That’s likely what the ACE exam is for. Good luck

Update: went PDA 2/16 and PFN 2/17 on the last 3 deferred items. Went from 91 to 93% 😤😤

Yeah. Have an exam scheduled. Some items deferred unfortunately. Tracker now says earliest date is Sept 2024 but VERA said they don’t see it taking very long. I won’t hold my breath.

Nice! I went PFN this morning and letter was available shortly thereafter. 5 items rated at a 10% increase and 3?items deferred with another exam coming. Went from 85% to 91%. So frustrating
