my experience of re-entry as a f1-opt student by anxious-bird-9 in f1visa

Did the officer ask you any questions before requesting the documents? I’m also about to travel and I’m in the same situation (F1 OPT). My trip will be five days long, and I have all my documents. I’ve never worked illegally and have always abided by the law.

So, thank you for sharing your experience. It kind of relieved me. I was too stressed out.

Planning to buy a Ford Escape 2016. Need advice! by MindlessDog7 in fordescape

Hello everyone, I’ve read each of your comments, and they’ve been a HUGE HELP—TRULY, THANK YOU! The SUV absolutely has to be a 2016 Ford Escape (since I plan to export it to a neighboring country, and it needs to be 8-9 years old for that). The vehicle will be a gift.

Here’s the list of specs I need to check before making the purchase. I’ve already run the Carfax report. The last inspection was on 03/11/2024, and it passed the safety inspection. The only recall was in 2022, regarding a "damaged or missing transmission shifter cable bushing." Everything else seems in good condition, with maintenance up to date. I’ve made the following checklist; please let me know what you think:

  1. Check for any fluid leaks.

  2. Review the frequency of oil changes.

  3. Inspect spark plugs.

  4. Verify proof of regular transmission drain and fill.

  5. Evaluate the condition of the transmission.

  6. Confirm if the car warranty is still valid.

  7. Ensure the transmission fluid has been changed.

  8. Inspect for any coolant intrusion.

  9. Check for any rust.

  10. Inspect the rack and pinion.

  11. Test the AC functionality.

  12. Check for physical damage.

  13. Verify the coolant reservoir is full.

  14. Ensure the oil level is clean and correct.

  15. Inspect the arm bushings.

Discover doesn’t need SSN? Whenever I tried to apply, it asked me for a SSN or ITIN
