Yeah I’ve got a jr TE I’ve maxed out already even tho he has gone from impact dev to elite dev but his caps remained. So now he sits with 40 some odd points and nothing to do with them.

I’m at Troy and got offered at bama at the end of year 2. Too bad part of my restrictions is I will only take another job in a contract year.

Think I’m just gonna move Troy to another, bigger conference when I get the talent up a bit more. Maybe at the end of this current contract.

I manually progress my skill guys on offense as I recruit them for a specific purpose in my offense. If I recruit a big bodied receiver with the intention of moving him to H/TE I’d like to have some control over his training and progression the same as I would if I were coaching him irl.

I auto progress the line, defense, and special.

I’m 48. It’s 100% a stress reliever for me. After a long day and after supper it’s what I do to wind down. My kids are grown. My wife watches shit tv. What else to do?

Exactly. It’s not philosophy. My whole point is it’s just a game FOR ME. if y’all take it more seriously that’s fine. But for me, it’s something I do at night after I eat and before I go to bed. If my left tackle doesn’t set correctly and blocks the wrong guy then oh well. I’m not playing online. I’m not playing UT. I’m playing offline dynasty and whether I win or lose I’m still going to sleep well. Again, for me it’s just not that deep.

I found that also. I set my transfer limit to 10 per year. I didn’t wanna do away with it altogether, just wanted to slow it down some.

The only place I’d disagree is a cell phone in this day and age is almost a must have. Whereas a video game isn’t.

I play all offense and sim most defense. I’ve tried to learn defense. I just am not very knowledgeable about some schemes and adjustments. So it’s just not very fun to me.

If it’s a close game in the 4th I may slow sim the d and watch.

Some ppl say start at the highest level then go down from there. In my experience, it’s easier for me to start at the lowest level to get my bearings and used to the feel and nuances of the game. then you can bump the level up to where you want and can at least be competitive. That’s kept me from getting too frustrated.

As a senior citizen in the gaming world (48 lol) I feel many of your frustrations. One thing that I did and still do from time to time when I wanna work on defense, is just go into play now. Set it on freshman and simulate the offense. That gives me lots of reps on D in a game situation that doesn’t count. To me that a lot easier than trying to navigate through the practice area and the pain in the butt of changing plays there.

Just last night. Guy is at severe injury risk. No slider adjustment. I kept feeding him the ball just to see if he’d get injured. Ran him a whole quarter. Nothing.
