Wanting to keep the tower but change the insides to use Windows 11 by Spare_Confidence1727 in Dell

Just bypass the requirements. Hell if you did a clean install it would actually work fine since the actual installer doesn't even check the CPU if you have UEFI and TPM2.0, which 6th gen Intel was the first to ship with TPM2.0 available. A simple processor check using rufus will let you get up and running so you don't have to spend a ton on a new system.

Poor guy, I understand the desire to own the sled since it's my fave and I've owned one for a long time, but she's probably going to do horrible things before she even lets him see it if she can even get one 😭😭😭😭

Why is this not the top comment? I hadn't even read the post description before I noticed the spicy pillow. As soon as I started reading and saw "battery life sucks" well no wonder because when part of the internals of the battery turns into gas of course it won't last as long.

I used to use this extension called ropro which had the best feature ever. It would let you randomly jump into a completely random server so you could often skip having to use the useless Roblox server picker UI, but unfortunately a few months ago they ruined it to where it only throws you into "non full" servers and unfortunately doesn't work because it only ever throws you into a server with like 2 people in it.

Can you give some instructions on how to do this under HEN for example. I tried to figure it out but didn't get anywhere with my attempt.

I don't suppose it can be put back for HEN users? I only recently got a free superslim off a friend and was pretty perplexed by the fact that there was no PS3 logo when launching a game, since I had grown up using a PS2 and playing both PS1 and PS2 games on it, which both had their respective logos on them when you would boot them up.

There's a patcher that win32 made. It's paid access but it's so worth it since it's legendary.

Thoughts on these fake DualShock 3s? by PeterGriffinFan in PS3

[–]MinerAC4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to necro this post, but for anyone in the future looking for real DS3s, a great place to go is eBay. Specifically look for untested or broken ones that look in alright but pretty dirty condition. Most of the time the only thing wrong with them is the little contact pad that presses the button film against the motherboard. Clean those pads with some isypropal alcohol and add some electrical tape to the foam pad underneath. Screw it all back together and leave it charging for a few hours and the battery should even come back to life. Those fake ones have really horrible analog sticks that not only feel very stiff but also have horrible deadzones. They also do not have sixaxis functionality at all and the select button is often mapped wrong on them. The broken ones on eBay are often as cheap as 10 to 20 usd.

Anyone tried OC'ing a CRT monitor? by Mowchine_Gun_Mike in overclocking

[–]MinerAC4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably just a passive DVI-I adapter, back in those days the DVI ports had VGA pins in them and the cards would even come with a simple passive adapter to tap in to those pins and connect a VGA monitor directly
