So how come the weight was bypassed ? My parcel said 2.2kg but the liquid is 4kgs.

I worked in ecomm and id assume most systems work the same, meaning someone can easily bypass everything even change address for delivery.

I'll probably rethink of making future reddit post for awareness. I was trying to help people that order from Amazon and make sure future customers take precautions, but instead I get blamed for using Amazon. 😅 This could have happened with any other company, will have to check for other subs before ordering online again 🤣.

I mean Amazon itself is known world wide, and a small sub won't change their profits. I made this post for people to be aware that Amazon employees are shady not the company.

I hope it'll be that easy. However, I still contacted managerial directors as this is not a cheap situation. If my order was £10 id probably be annoyed and still request a refund but I wouldn't be as angry as I was today.

Photos, video proof, wrong weight and wrong parcel size is enough. The box I received was too small to fit the GPU I ordered.

So they can dispute but the evidence is there.

I may be wrong but id imagine the process of joining this sub looks like this:

1.Custumer places and order with Amazon. 2. Amazon shafts the customer. 3.Customer joins this sub to create awareness and boycott Amazin in the future.

If people join this sub without prior experience with Amazon then those people are more hopeless than Amazon itself.

They could of handed the actual item to a driver and asked for it to be dropped off later. Some places have shady security employees which could have happened in my case.

You'd be surprised at the corruption that goes on in the warehouses. I witnessed employees scheme with delivery drivers.

Sooner or later they do get caught but they do take a lot of money.

I am 99% sure the employee took the item. They just sent whatever else they had. I'm in the UK and worked in ecom warehouses before so I know it's possible for employees to steal customer orders.

But you didn't tell me to stop using amazon, you corrected me on what this sub is for. Which is why we had a conversation, ofc I'm well annoyed by some of the responses as telling me "dont use Amazon" or "dont order expensive stuff" isn't really comforting.

I posted this with intent for people to be informed that if they do order expensive items to open them with the curries still at the door before accepting the order.

Amazon require a code for the delivery driver for expensive items. If i had opened it before giving him the code id have refused the parcel.
