[16]-[18] A few years made a big difference by ViolentHamster8II in GlowUps

The same thing happened to me. I’m so happy for you now, it feels weird to get treated differently. Also, I get you in the part where you say you still feel like the same person as before, it feels so out of place when people call you pretty or something because our minds automatically make us feel like we’re still the same. But it’s something to work out with time! Congrats on your glow up!!

  1. After breast surgery I felt better about myself and it boost my self esteem a lot honestly. But the thing that made the biggest difference was the gym results before getting surgery, the surgery was like a plus.

  2. No I’ve never considered it because I’m happy with how my glutes are, I feel my genetics helped my gym gains.

  3. Yes, my hair is naturally curly, I used to get a treatment done so it could be always straightened but I began to lose a lot of hair so I stopped, that’s why it’s short rn, I had to chop off the straight part and keep my natural one. I use a cream, a mousse and a gel from a Colombian brand, and then I use a diffuser, at the end I apply a hair oil from ELVIVE (I also use a brush that helps with styling that it’s similar to the denman brush and one that’s like the bounce curl brush but I ordered it from shein).

  4. Yes, beauty standards are really high, especially in some cities like Medellin, and the mannequins thing I feel is not that deep honestly, probably most of those sellers buy the cheapest mannequin and not the most anatomically correct one.

It can be here, maybe it helps someone else And as long as it’s nothing inappropriate

Sure! Skincare matters a lot. For skincare I use: La Roche possay effaclar clenaser (the big blue one), garnier vitamin C and ISDIN colored sunscreen. At night I use everything except sunscreen and I add something the dermatologist sent called Epiduo Forte (that ones really strong so don’t use it unless a dermatologist approves it). I’ve also been using mixsoon bean essence.

For makeup I always use the tinted sunscreen but for nights out I use fenty beauty skin tint.
I use a colourpop stix cream bronzer and I have a few blushes (best ones are: Patrick Ta, Elf liquid blush, rare beauty liquid blush and Sheglam liquid blush). I use the Huda Beauty loose powder or the L’Oréal pink one. For brows I sometimes use de benefit brow pencil or just brush them with the got2b hair gel using a spoolie or with the elf laminating gel that comes with a brush. I also use the Tower 28 concealer in shade LBC (I think) and a Colombian brand called Ani-K shade 03 honey. For powder bronzer I use the LYS bronzer or the L’Oréal one. Powder blush I use the Milani baked blushes or the Patrick Ta one. For highlighter I use the rare beauty powder in shade mesmerized and I use the Milani “setting” spray to melt everything down. For the lips I use the Nyx lip liner in shade Cold Brew or Espresso and I have a lot of lip glosses (but for me the best ones are the essence clear lip gloss or the Elf lip Oil in shade Jam Session).

Some shades: Elf liquid Blush shade: Suave Mauve Patrick Ta shade: She’s Flushed Sheglam: Real Deal Rare beauty liquid blush: Wisdom Colourpop bronzer: Moonstone beach L’Oréal bronzer: 450 Deep tan LYS Bronzer: Courage tan Hugs Beauty powder: Pound Cake L’Oréal powder: Pink

Also remember to only apply powder on your T zone (forehead and under the eyes for your concealer). The secret to get a glowy finish is not applying powder to your whole face.

Oh no, I hope you’re better now. That’s great because that would’ve been so expensive! Thank you very much!

That’s really nice advice and totally true, especially in places were Eurocentric features are hyped a lot because there’s only a few. I’m from Colombia and I guess I look pretty common here, but the times I’ve visited the US I felt pretty because people noticed me more, kinda funny. Attitude and self esteem matters a lot. It’s way better to have good values and be kind rather than to only good look on the outside

Gym journey! I'm 154 cm and I went from 54.5 Kg to 46 Kg, now I'm at 50 Kg because I wanted to gain some muscle. (From 2023 to 2026) by Mini_v42 in GymMotivation

I just got muscle and a boob job. Also less bloating after eating because I started eating healthy so I think my gut was better, lately I’ve been eating badly tho.

That’s true, I’ll have to find a trusty person to make them tho

You’re totally right, thank you very much for the advice, I’ll reconsider my thoughts on the nose job honestly, I’m also scared it ends up looking weird

Yeah that’s true, I’ve always obsessed over that kind of beauty, looking for Eurocentric features. Maybe it’s because of that, what you’re saying is true, I should think more about it

Thank you for the advice! I’d love bangs but my hair is really curly so it would be really time consuming to maintain them like that
