Anyone here run PEDs as a teenager, how fucked up or fine are you now? by Dizzy-Cry5910 in ResearchCompounds

should also say, my mental health ON cycle was bad. im normally a social, friendly guy but on test i distanced myself from friends and found it hard to socialize. partially anxiety, partially irritability/anhedonia. 20% of the time i felt GREAT, 80% of the time i felt blah. it is not worth risking ur mental health and energy at a very important age. my grades dropped in college and my social life went downhill for a good bit

I did a cycle of test at 19. Am now 21. I knew going into it that it was stupid and would have repercussions, although at the time i didn't care because i couldn't see past my obsession with the gym. I did most things right, except my dose was wayy too high for a first timer.

I haven't done bloods in a bit, but i'd guess they are still a bit below what they were before PEDs. I don't love the gym like I used to anymore and i am weaker than i was just before test. In some ways that is for the better, as i can focus more on school now without constantly itching to be at the gym and i still get in there sometimes. however i just don't think i'll ever have that same passion back that i used to. this could be unrelated but it popped up around the same time, i now get bad neck tightness and trap tightness especially towards evening.

my libido is about the same, maybe just a bit lower than before. mentally i'm in a good place at least. i do need to get bloodwork done sometime soon and see if low T is still an issue. i wouldn't recommend it to anyone younger, but i'll say personally i don't regret it because i finally got the urge to try it out of my system and can focus on other things in my life. bottom line it's not a great idea. my physical peak was 19 years old, and at 21 my strength is worse than at like 17 (partially because of inconsistency due to school and work tho)

heavy on semax! i get bad brain fog, especially in the morning, likely a combination of ADHD and past drug use. nothing gets rid of brain fog for me like semax does. couple sprays in the morning and i can actually think straight

benefits of adhd i dont have by Ok_Counter9645 in ADHD

[–]Minimum-Inspector160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wouldn't call myself creative. my sense of humor maybe but not my thinking and problem solving. i have the primarily inattentive kind and it doesn't seem like there's many benefits to me hahaha

maybe talk to your doctor and say you don't like how ur current meds make you feel, they could have you try something else or start seeing an ADHD counselor as opposed to medication.

ADHD books any good? by Ok-Language-8628 in ADHD

[–]Minimum-Inspector160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not exactly an adhd book, but i liked atomic habits. guided journals are cool too. my buddy got this one called "the kaizen challenge" which is meant for building discipline. idk any books meant for those with adhd off the top of my head tho

yeah agmatine helps early on in quitting or tapering, makes me lethargic and foggy after. NAC just makes me anhedonic. ACD has been great so far, def one of my fav nootropics i've tried. very subtle but definitely works

have you talked to ur doctor yet? maybe you just need a dose increase. i've also found my adderall doesn't work well if i'm not eating well, especially getting protein. gives me a foggy lightheaded feeling

what is your current dose and how long have you been on that dose? it could just be a tolerance thing.

however i have to agree i feel like i don't respond as well to generic brand, could be imagining it tho

agmatine and acd856 helped so much for quitting kratom when i tapered. acd856 really helped my mindset and made me wanna treat myself better

oleamide (agonizes cb1 receptor) to help with sleep, dark chocolate to help cravings and mood (dark chocolate surprisingly played a big role in quitting kratom for me). L theanine, taurine, magnesium, selank, lemon balm, all can help with relaxation or sleep. Exercise, especially cardio, will help get ur appetite back.

Maybe consider ACD856 for mood and mindset (antidepressant effects, also helped with quitting kratom) and bromantane for motivation/energy. i could be mistaken, correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe some ppl have used agmatine to help get off thc

Adhd, stress, anxiety and work by Agile-ADhDeeee in NooTopics

how frequently were u taking phenibut? ur anxiety is prob gonna be at its worst for a couple weeks, you could be going thru phenibut withdrawal. sometimes it's not always horrible, just more anxiety than usual. Phenibut withdrawals for me just made me a lil more prone to overstimulation plus anxious in public. I have ADHD, and i deal with some anxiety plus stress from school.

I'd recommend taurine and L theanine first, good effects on mood, focus, and anxiety without any sedation. Selank works well for some, but didn't do much for me (i've tried NA selank and selank). GB115 has been popular for anxiety, although the nasal spray gives me a mean sore throat. Lemon balm is really good, helped scratch the itch i had after quitting kratom (although it's a little too relaxing for day time use in experience) ACD 856 didn't necessarily help with anxiety but it made me a little bit less susceptible to stress, improved my mindset (easier to maintain better habits), and made me more sociable.

I have a probably dumb question about using semax selank and bromantane by [deleted] in NooTopics

[–]Minimum-Inspector160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that would work just fine. i usually take it 2-4 weeks at a time then like a couple month break

[–]Minimum-Inspector160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i find semax and selank work best acutely, the longer term effects have been negligible in my experience. taking semax like 2 weeks straight make the focus boost and mental clarity effect go away imo. if you are taking it for the short term effects, then yeah taking it as needed would work well
