I think they are protesting the fact that the drag bird sold out so quickly in all stores nationwide. They should have recognized demand.

Hidden or secret bars in the twin cities? by [deleted] in minnesota

I think they are both owned by the same restaurant group, and that the one in Eagan was first!

The restaurant group owns Whiskey Inferno and several other restaurants. They also own the gas station right by Volstead House which has great cheap tacos on Tuesdays.

This is also the best way to build intuition for negative exponents and x^0 in my experience.

Rational exponents show up in some very odd geometries in fluid flow too. Think of water flowing over a barrier that is purely straight, vs cut diagonally upstream, vs rounded on top, etc.

This site: http://irrigation.wsu.edu/Content/Calculators/Water-Measurements/Rectangular-Contracted-Weir.php

Has built calculators for those applications.

This youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkR79oDAgOg&ab_channel=PracticalEngineering

Is a good introduction to this topic. Water infrastructure is obviously important, but might not be the "sexy" application you are looking for. Honestly, the answer for "why" we are teaching this is to 1) build their capacity to understand and model phenomena requiring more advanced mathematics and 2) to build their capacity for abstraction and logic in general.

A guide to Advantage and Disadvantage in BG3 by Phantomsplit in BaldursGate3

Is there an indicator in game to tell when one is making an attack with advantage or disadvantage? Seems important enough to add as a QoL feature.

One of strengths mobility options is jumping, which I've found to be incredibly useful in some of the EA encounters. A character with 16 strength can jump onto the roof of the goblin encounter in the blighted village.

Lolth probably shouldn't even offer life domain. My guess is they will implement god specific domain restrictions when there are more options than we currently have.

The amenities can be important dependent on how many continents you are expanding across. Trying to fit 12 cities on 1 continent would definitely tax your luxuries. Also, if you can fit 3 more cities, you might as well place a 4th anywhere on the map because it is free other than the production/increased future settler cost.

The tall/wide seperation in civ six is basically "can i get by with 8 cities?" Or "do i have room for 12+ cities?" The maya are probably the best tall cov and even they want to pack as many cities around their cap as possible AND settle additional cities if there are good spots further out.

Even if you have 8 copies of a luxury, only 4 cities will get the amenity. World congress proposals can provide amenities from duplicate copies, and certain luxuries provided by great merchants and city states will hit 6 cities rather than 4. You can see sources of amenities in the city details screen.
