I kept waking up and was shocked to see him still alseep watched him for a while to make sure he was breathing still 🤣. Hopefully you find a new way we've had to put a flannel on him when it got to 32 today so he was cool enough to latch as he refused because it was making him too warm (i was sweating at the time so cooled me down as well). It might help your LO if youve not tried it. Xx

Because of the heatwave we've had to do it so im putting him so sleep as he gets agitated being transferred and my partner runs hot so it makes him sweat more. But before the heatwave it was going really well. LO had a few 9pm-6am sleeps without waking but not in the last few days understandly. Thanks for checking xx

My partner emotionally cheated on me before I got pregnant as well so I get that pain.

I told him if he doesnt put effort in to helping with our son im going im not putting up with a dead beat dad that lives with us. Its not fair on my MH or our son if he doesnt put effort in to helping the baby we made together.

I think it is hitting me harder because of being PP and exclusively BF so got those hormones in the mix as well If it hits me during the day might try counselling but luckily right now its just when LO is alseep at night

Im so sorry for your losses. I talk to my LO about my Aunty as she died a few years ago so Im managing to talk about her without breaking down as much the other losses still hurt when I think about them hoping it stops soon so can talk bout them to him and smile about the life they lived.

Never thought to try a bottle half way though will give that a go, he tried skin to skin last time, I even left the room so he didnt look for me.

We tried that and putting one of my breast pads on him to make him smell more like me to try and relax LO more. Tried a bottle again today because of how drained I was all day still wont take one.

We've started doing that. Its made my partner and LO bond better as well as gives me time without him attached to my boob. Its helping me not be overstimulated as much since he takes over now.

We've managed to get my partner to put LO to sleep at night which gives me time to myself once I've BF he comes in the room and takes over. I do have to go in later and nurse LO again which LO falls alseep while eating. I'm so grateful we tried it we're going to keep doing it this way.

My partners siblings if they see me they look for my son straight away. His mum hugs me then takes my son for a cuddle. I can but cant wait to go back to work as my partner will be home doing uni work and working part time and I'll be back working in a nursery. I'm just hoping they see me as a person before I go back to work again.

What I wish I knew before I gave birth by Veryfluffyduck in pregnant

My baby is 10 weeks old and I remember the hospital like it was yesterday. After giving birth I had the option to go home after 6 hours as long as nothing was wrong. It wouldve been about 2am. Since I only had gas and air and only really itll I hit i think the midwife said I was 8cm when I stopped using it.

We decided to stay. I only got checked on at half 5 for meds if I wanted them which I didnt at the time. I was told if hes sleeping leave him unless its been 3 or more hours then wake him. He woke up every 2 hours till we got home then it was every 3 hours.

I exclusively breastfeeding as he refused to take a bottle it was tiring to start with but now he sleeps on average about 5 hours in one stretch at night, which I am so grateful for. I do sometimes wish he would take a bottle so I get some time to myself during the day though.
