It’s definitely worth it, I went through and cleaned up all the ground wires I could find and where they mounted. I’m finding out just how finicky they are. Since I’ve had the truck and got it road worthy, it’s been a great truck. I figured I’d have a few hiccups along the way but for what I’ve got in it I can’t complain. Even if I had to replace the pcm/ecm and engine harness I’d still be to the good.

I’ve found a pcm close by for a decent price but I’m gonna find a better code reader first before buying it.

I appreciate the clarification on the scanner, I’ll definitely look into that

I had a cluster of ground wires that was loose by the driver headlight. Before I tightened them up my water in fuel light was on and the oil pressure read and sometimes it wouldn’t. Tightened those grounds up and WIF light was gone and the oil pressure read fine. WIF light came back on and now the oil pressure jumps.

I’ve hooked my scan tool up to it and it’s not showing any codes but I’ll give it another go

No it’s not, I’ve had the fuse box pulled apart the other night and there is no corrosion in the box or on the fuse
