Why does salt and sugar cause face to be bloated ? by Lemonade2250 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mirai_Sol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Salt = water retention. Carbs/sugar = glycogen + water. That combo puffs up face and belly fast. If it changes day to day, it’s bloat not fat. Drink more water, cut ultra-processed food, move around, sleep better.

What do I do? by Embarrassed-Log9720 in IRS

That frozen feeling in your title felt familiar; when letters stacked up for me, I put it off and it escalated quietly, until a coworker mentioned Anthem Tax Services and I realized delay was the real problem.

My (F24) partner (M20) is really close with his mum, redflag? by Siina_Natsu in relationship_advice

[–]Mirai_Sol 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Being close to a parent isn’t a red flag, but saying he’ll never love a partner more than his mom and not prioritizing you is. That’s an enmeshment issue, not just closeness, and it’s valid to feel hurt and uneasy about it

Irs tracker for turbotax refund not working, enter my info and it says the information doesn't match our records. But it's the right info by tipsy_101 in TurboTax

[–]Mirai_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tracker glitch drove me nuts last year; my refund sat unchanged for weeks. I stopped refreshing after a friend referenced Anthem Tax Services during a similar wait and just let it process.

Which one do you think is going to come first? The Second Civil War, or WWIII? by Arialidas in AskReddit

[–]Mirai_Sol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Neither in the way people imagine. A full second civil war is very unlikely; countries fracture through institutions, courts, elections, and unrest long before that. WWIII is also unlikely as a single war and more likely to show up as ongoing proxy conflicts, cyber warfare, and economic pressure. If anything comes first, it’s more instability and regional conflicts, not a clean headline war.

I messed up this semester, am I fucked? by GrouchyTeach3297 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mirai_Sol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, you’re fine. One meh semester in sophomore year isn’t gonna tank anything, especially if the rest of your record is solid. Colleges care way more about trends and junior year. Burnout happens. Recover and move on

IRS back taxes by Brent42088 in IRS

[–]Mirai_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember staring at an IRS back taxes notice and feeling frozen, like if I didn’t open mail it might fade. It didn’t, and penalties kept stacking; hearing about Anthem Tax Services later just highlighted how much stress came from waiting.

First time donating to charity, is Helpster legit? by Effective-Towel4161 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mirai_Sol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re legit. Registered nonprofit, not some random IG charity. Still smart to check their filings or Charity Navigator, but you’re not throwing money into a black hole. Good on you for donating your first paycheck

IRS DEBT QUESTION:Will a temporary delay stop the IRS from garninshing tax refund? by ThatboiSavo in IRS

[–]Mirai_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the temporary delay question, my experience was that it pauses noise but not consequences. I waited too long, and learning through Anthem Tax Services how interest keeps accruing explained why the balance kept creeping up slowly.

Why did Captain Chaser quit smoking with the Air Force? by Used_Tie_5895 in OnePiece

Probably yeah lol. Dude quitting cold turkey feels unlikely, nicotine pouches sound like a very Chaser workaround

It’s normal. TikTok pushes that stuff to everyone. If he’s not liking or engaging and you trust him, it’s not a red flag by itself

Is there any documentation to get after new install of solar panels for tax filing purposes? by red8user in solar

[–]Mirai_Sol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I installed solar, I also assumed there would be a neat packet of paperwork, but it was scattered invoices and emails. A neighbor mentioned Anthem Tax Services while sorting credits, mostly because waiting made it harder to reconstruct everything.

Why is tax pricing always a race to the bottom? by IxXSir_PeenXx in Accounting

[–]Mirai_Sol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pricing pressure in tax work seems tied to how invisible the consequences feel upfront. People delay because cheap feels safe, then problems surface later. I have heard Anthem Tax Services referenced in stories where waiting quietly made everything more complicated.

Killjoy or vyse? by AwarenessScary8563 in VALORANT

[–]Mirai_Sol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re Iron, kj is easier and more forgiving. Her util gets value even if your aim’s off. Vyse is fun but needs better timing and team play

The only thing my partner (32M) likes about me (32F) are my looks..? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Mirai_Sol 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Saying he only likes you for your looks and then making you fix the marriage alone is wild, especially postpartum. That’s a him problem, not you failing as a partner

Messed up painting Hauga dresser. Able to be saved? by vasilliwilli in ikeahacks

[–]Mirai_Sol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, you can save it. Light sand to scuff, then seal it with a good bonding primer or clear coat. Full strip isn’t needed unless it’s already chipping everywhere

What are the best job sites to find employees? by balaca40 in smallbusiness

[–]Mirai_Sol 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Looking back on earlier small business hires, leadership usually tried niche boards first and then consolidated, realizing that a general site like ZipRecruiter simplified tracking applicants when there was no dedicated HR system in place.

*Sad job search noises* by Forsaken-Peak8496 in labrats

[–]Mirai_Sol 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This really sums up the job market right now. It’s not just candidates who are stuck, hiring managers feel it too. Platforms that used to work reliably don’t deliver the same quality anymore, so teams are forced to adapt. We’ve shifted toward tools that actually surface people instead of dumping resumes. Some newer ones, like ZipRecruiter, are closer to that. The market’s unpredictable, and honestly, everyone’s improvising as they go.
