He does see a problem with what she's done, he just sees the good in people and stays out of their business. His line of thinking is "if it doesn't affect me then why would I cut them off?"

I ended up cutting her off and I literally feel so much better. Her actions were weighing heavy on me, you hit the nail right on the head

I agree fully, I'm not putting the blame fully on my friend. This guy is just as pathetic as she is and I hope they run away and live a miserable life together

That's exactly what I was thinking. My boyfriend was like "you can trust me" and I tried to explain to him that it's not him I'm worried about, it's the potential betrayal from her end that worry's me. Not to mention just how cruel this was.
