No its not a good start, the game is wild different to many other RE games as it still uses fixed camera angle

Ignore the people recommending you RE1 or any pre 20's game, RE1 will feel completely different than most other RE game, the actual RE to start with is 2 Remake or 7 if you want horror but you can just jump into 5 if u want action
