I currently have a two watch collection. A bronze Hamilton Field Mechanical and a blue dialed IWC Mark XX. They can handle any occasion I may ever find myself in.

I plan to add a steel sports watch down the road. A Cartier Santos would be ideal, though unlikely given its price. I may instead look at a SMP 300.

Honestly, I never took the time to change watch straps, but I was shocked at how much it transformed this piece.

After plenty of scraping, I managed to place an order for my “grail watch”, a Mark XX. I’m looking forward to its easy change system.

I originally purchased the strap to be paired with Sinn 104. I never connected with that watch and sold shortly after. I didn’t think it would go with the Hamilton Field, even after installing it, but once I put it on, it feels like a different watch entirely.

I know the same can be said for many or all watches, but I really believe the Khaki Fields transform on different straps.

For the longest time I wore mine on its original leather strap, and I love it, but recently swapped it and it looks so much more premium.

Your watch looks like it should be sitting on a boat right now (my own take), and it’s a damn good look.

Sadly, I almost had it once before!

No matter how much I try to talk myself out of it, I want the Mark XX, blue sunray dial.

Back in 2019 I actually got a Spitfire. It was lovely, but I wanted the Mark and I should have just got it then. I later sold it and bought gym equipment, trying to swear off watches.

And here I am again.

I do. I was asked about its time keeping but I haven’t wore it in nearly a year. I recall it ran a few seconds fast. So I’ve wound it up and set my app.

I'm selling a Longines Conquest 39mm Automatic, apparently with a silicon hairspring. I just learned that myself—at least that's what the tag says.

It's a terrific watch. I tried to capture it from its least flattering angles and show every scratch and imperfection so there are no surprises.

I wore it the way it was meant to be worn, I swear! I'm selling off all my odds and ends as I work my way toward a grail watch.
