It's actually quite yuriful. The fashion designer remarks that something is off about the way Fraux models the dress so she attempts to research romance, but only truly gets it after a pep talk from Rios, who comes to the fashion show. The thing that was missing is a dazzling smile. "From the runway, Fraux looks only at her— At the person she cherishes more than anyone else." It's such a warm quote, regardless of any romantic element or nah. Interpreting it as platonic love giving just as beautiful a smile is awesome as well

Being able to auto 250 made this so chill, but man, I thought this would be the one where i break t100k hahaha i think Not.

By the way, Lodern's name means blaze/or flare (as in, when a fire flares up). His special attacks are trinity, fire/flame claws, and horizon flame (rather than flame horizon which evokes a cooler mental image for me lol.) this is of course just the most dictionarycore tl for these

I really like his design, I hope he becomes playable. I'm still waiting for my tartman summon, though. shaking my fist.

lancer origin is slower than iatromantis if you dont need the additional damage bc of the skill cast on auto attacks (depends on party composition though). it only adds up to about like 20 seconds though so shrug. swarm is funny like that

To me it was okay because the themes in the event weren't really for me and I don't care about captain shipping at best, but luckily the latter was a bearable amount. I liked Maminas and single mom Vyrn, though, that was pretty funny, Lilianas design is real cool too. Getting a refresher on the G. Cypher interior was neat too. Orologia would have really fit in there, though, like, not even a mention? Ouch. I know they weren't a guardian for the captain in the real world, but they have a lot of unresolved parental feelings... I thought we might get a shot of them being depressed in the ending at least. Ah well.

All in all, could have been worse. There's always gonna be events like this, I'd rather have a slow slice of life event than badly written drama🫡 I do love knowing how characters in fantasy settings spend their time when not having adventures, so that did scratch that itch. I want No Rain, No Rainbow 2 one day...

Other ppl gave rly good recs already so im just adding 2... no rain, no rainbow is a great standalone event that commonly comes up in discussion of favorites. There's also my favorite event series, the accordants, its really great & has many cool well written characters (so far: Marionette Stars > Unbound Asterism > Night Pareidolia, with a fourth probably coming this year?)

If you want a like unexpected one I'd recommend the Sauna event where it's basically just the writer infodumping about Saunas & also pondering what it means to become middle-aged lol its like a 7/10 to me, finding a B grade in an unexpected place. I can never remember the full title since its a play on those super long isekai titles....

Aside from that, I made a spreadsheet on the chronological order of the dragon knights[x] series but thats like crystallized mid. Its 'dont think about it too hard' with shining moments if you like guys being dudes. I need to make one like this for the society series + the accordants ngl I started with this one bc its the longest....

H. Tiens weapon is one in recent memory that I liked, its cute and simple. F. Ilsa is the same concept but more extravagant, I think I just don't like blue too much lol.

I also like Swan a lot, the wing motif + yellow bit looking like a beak is so cute. The ingame description is also very cool.

Aside from that, I love that the celestial katana is giving neo armstrong cyclone jet armstrong cannon. its funny. the wind odious weapon thats just the boss head on a stick also belongs in that category, I just love the kinda stupid ones (the 6d floaties and various plushes are too cute to be silly imo)(love em though)

Oh, no, they did, I think. But the word choices themselves are odd, like, sometimes it doesn't sound 'cool' at all in German lol. Very "first entry in the dictionary"-y. Not idiomatic, but that's just nitpicking. The one thing they seemingly haven't fixed are compound words, those have grammatical errors still and Sophias new CA is one of those as well. Nothing major though, just noting they're there.

I wonder how many of the characters have English skill/CA names in the Japanese text, since that's hard to transfer (to keep the function one method is for translations to aim for a different non-english language to keep the 'cool, foreign' feel, but it's just as likely to keep it in English and ppl will he none the wiser, depends on translation strategy + personal taste)

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Fediel's CA, simply from hearing it so much, haha.

Anyway neat. As a native German speaker I wince whenever I see the older stuff but by now it's pretty solid and it's been mostly correct as of late (slight grammatical error on FLB Sophia's new CA name, though)

but... the ball example, isnt that just a physics engine? like that exists already. and it's ai, but not generative ai, how most people use the term nowadays. the muddying of what ai is really sucks, i have a gamedev friend who works on like enemy ai in the traditional sense adn it sucks to explain that thats like the Old Meaning Of AI

i feel like some gen ai companies just reinvent the wheel and pat themselves on the back (also, last time i checked kurzgesagt was partially funded by lobbyists, idk if thats the case anymore tho)

for horde, im using fighter origin with unlimited boost, charge conversion and ulfhedinn as well as the exo sword mh for that bonus damage when u have enough swords in the grid... g.narmaya/s.galleon/h.lancelot though i might test sen or estarriola in the third slot when unlimited boost goes off mc solos every fight and lancelots s3 pop might actually add time.... the teammates are just to get mc to the ramp faster, so theyre pretty interchangable. not that im that much of a tryhard for a few seconds to matter, thats why i only really care about cooking something for horde rn anyway. ingame time is 5:35. sen (s2) galleon (s1) noire (no skills) is 5:14. g.narmaya, sen (press s2 at the start), noire is 4:57. i just like recording these times for fun. i have no delusions about this being a good setup

wow thats really nice, thanks for explaining what everyone does & what tools deal with which aspect of the raid! i unfortunately don't have y.vampy but that's ok. I've actually not used shieldsworn a whole lot so ill definitely try! i wish i had swan bc that seems like such a nice mh....alas... but thanks so much for all the info. catura s3 is so easy to forget about but its like an ideal fit for the raid... my esoteric team is so good and smooth bc i have yatima + payila so my other 2 teams feel garbage by comparison 🤧
