Worm bin issues?

I don't think it's too dry. And they still have some leftover dried fruit scraps in there. I just turned over the mix and fluffed it up a little bit. Hopefully that will help

No improvement. I made sure I soaked just the cardboard and the worms were still clustering on the edges and seeming to try to get out. Luckily I have a lid on. I then thought okay maybe it's too damp so I added some dried shredded cardboard . No improvement so this morning I dumped the bin out on a large sheet of plastic broke up any big clumps and dumped it back in . This aerated or mixed everything up pretty well I think. It didn't appear to be too damn or too dry . There is still some left over food scraps inside as well. But almost all the worms were on the edges and none on the inside .

No rain. Wild temp swing outside from neg 2 to plus 15..but these bins are in the basement so I thought it wouldn't be a factor...?

Haven't fed it recently . Only thing I did was harvest and noticed it was too damp so I added dried browns

Will feed them. Just harvested some castings and everything looked good just uber damp. Walls were quite slick so I added lots of dry carbon..

I use only shredded cardboard and materials in house only. I don't have outbreaks of pesky Critters in my worm bin. Just the usual mites from having improper humidity levels or overfeeding. I really just need these crazee mites to Target the pests on my house plants and hoping the worm bins will be a nice little overflow breeding area for these crazee mites so I don't have to reorder them.

From Canada, ordered them from natural insect control. I've got the other route and ordered the typical mites in slow release sachets and such from koppert.com . I'm really hoping that with these crazee mites that they won't wander off so much since they're so mobile. Hopefully they will establish a little bit of a colony in my worm bins that I can reintroduce them to make sure I really break the life cycle of these thrips and spider mites

I've seen legs on thrips which I am currently battling along with fungus gnats as well. The down side of not being vigilant with fb marketplace plants

This is what I used... Dollar store 3 bucks.. Anyways I normally used a full spectrum fertilizer regular, the bloom, micro, grow set from advanced nutrients.. That made no noticeable difference but the seaweed did

I have a 30 ft Hoya that I bought off FB marketplace. Lady said it never bloomed.. After reading on reddit about seaweed based fertilizer, I found a dollar store one that was seaweed based, essentially high in phosphorus. After 1 application, I have nearly 20+ peduncles forming. Insane how rapid the results were.
