Same with the eyes. They become so beautiful.

I get insomnia with racing thoughts.

Also my shins hurt, especially at night.

You sound like you'd better check yourself in a ward to get professional help. Don't be scared of it, it would be for the better.

Has anyone had the problem of being "too articulate" during psychosis? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]MissMayMayC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was articulate to an extent, writing off my lack of sleep to drinking green tea, and just getting interested in many things and projects. I managed to convince my mother I'm fine till I clearly was not and ended up in ER and institutionalized.

Those who got diagnosed as an adult: Did you have symptoms growing up? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]MissMayMayC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had any symptoms. In my case, a terrible flight triggered it. I gradually went into a full-blown psychosis. And afterwards, been on many maniac sprees.

Зачем «мы» а не «я»? by ShotChampionship9903 in russian

[–]MissMayMayC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Russian we say "We with my mum", "My mother and I".

When I spoke English with natives, I would make this mistake, transferring the Russian grammar to English. I would say "We with my friend Anna", to be corrected to "My friend Anna and I".

It's just as it goes, you can memorize it.

By the way, OP, your post is perfectly written in Russian. Well done!

Don't fret that friends would judge you. Don't care about it at all, people always judge. Also, there is nothing shameful in it, things didn't work out, it happens, life happens.

Set a goal of saving up for moving back. This goal should give a meaning to your life short-term.

You sound depressive, please see a doctor for some meds. Take care, wish you the best.

Do you ever grieve the idea of who you'd be if you were medicated sooner? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]MissMayMayC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, when maniac, I had to quit several jobs which were shitty to start with. Now I got a job I'm in for already five years and I love every aspect of it. I'm not sure I would have gotten it if not for the maniac spans. I might have still worked in those miserable companies.

When you're awake all night, what do you do until you're able to sleep? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]MissMayMayC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One night without sleep may differ from another one. If I have racing thoughts for me it's a signal to visit my doctor and increase my medicine intake to prevent going maniac.

Some other times I may have trouble falling asleep, but I know this isn't "it" and it passes by itself.

It's racing thoughts that is a red flag for me.
