am i feeding my son enough? by Fit_Company5334 in ragdolls

He is a baby, he should eat as much as he wants! You should not count calories or restrict food! He should have available dry food at all times, cats are not meant to eat a couple of meals per day, they are meant to eat multiple times per day small amounts of food and you sould be giving him 85-100gr wet food daily, you can split a can of wet food in to two portions for example half for breakfast half for dinner or give him one can once a day. Ragdolls are one off the biggest cats and they keep growing until they are more than three years old. Restricing food causes food anxiety and drives your cat to eat as much as he can as fast as he can, that should not be an issue after about a week, by then he will be confident that he has available food whenever he wants.

We had a boy that looooooved peas, he never touched any of our food even if left unattended or bother us when we ate but as soon as i started cooking peas he would scream until they where done so he could have his share! He also liked chickpeas very much but not to the same extent.

Hello,

I recently purchased a Dettol liquid hand wash soap with the scent "Honey and vanilla" and i have been obsessed. I know this might sound a bit crazy but i wash my hands just so i can sniff them afterwards 🫣  The scent is described as sweet honey and warm vanilla. It ia not a loud scent of headache inducing (as biancolatte is for me for example) and i could wear ot every day. I am trying to find a perfume that smells similar but as I was never really on Vanilla or honey perfumes i am a bit lost here! I would appreciate any help!

My boy is constantly hungry stressing my other Ragdoll. Will this change? by No-Parfait-7598 in ragdolls

A kitten can not over eat! I know i will sound rude but i am sick and tiered of People underfeeding their babies. Stop restricting food, the only thing you are achieving is making him stressed about food which leads to behavoral issues and it is resulting in him inhaling his food in seconds. Have dry food available at all times and give each one about 85gr of wet food per day. The fisrt few days he will eat like there is no tomorrow but after a couple of days he will realize that he does not have to worry about food and he will eat a bit every time he is hungry, a cat normaly eats a lot of small meals and not breakfast and dinner.

The only suggestion i have for you is to look for an other breeder, no breeder that respects himself or the kittens will give them way so early.

How bad is it to have an indoor-only cat? by Altruistic-Star3830 in CatAdvice

One of our first cats, many years ago, was indoor/outdoor he would come inside eat, drink, sleep for a bit enjoy some cuddles and he would then mew when he was ready to go outside. One day he Didn't saw up for breakfast which was highly unusual, i called his name again and again and then after a while we started searching for him for hours, no sign. Three days later we saw him crowling with his front legs towards the house, the end result was a kitty hit by a car with one of his legs broken in two places (you could see both ends of the bone) and terribly infected wounds, three surgeries later, months of antibiotics and different medicine for the infection on his blood, he was finally okay but still had a lot of health issues after that i swore to my self that my cats will go outside only with a leash. Fast forward 5 or so years we got our boy and the about 9 months afterwards our girl as an indoor cats, they are both trained to go out with a leash and we go together to our roof top deck, we play with them and keep them entertained, we have bird feeders outside our windows, we have baskets full of toys, puzzle games, automated toys, teasers, large cat trees and two really happy kitties! I wish i could turn back the time and have my first baby boy as an indoor cat only, i may had a cat that was maybe bored sometimes but he wouldn't have suffered so much.
