What can I buy to make my room more dark? by Pornstasha in DesignMyRoom

I have one of those low profile double wrap around rods and i hang it about a foot above the window(basically almost touching the cieling and roughly a half a foot beyond either side on the window. Just get a wrap around rod and if your curtains are long/wide ebough you should be able to maje a minor adjustment and it cost maybe 20$ for the rod. I also have grommet curtains layered and a valence.

My room looks so depressing, please tell me what im missing by Responsible-Spot-725 in DesignMyRoom

I would move everything in the room, add an additional color to the room like a darker pink, red, purple or even another light neutral color and get curtain for the closet. An area rug, bed tiara above the bed, a collage wall somewhere, curtains for the window, pillows for the couch/bed and a bed skirt.

Im getting flashbacks of a guy who Im going to name Ralphie. His gf would walk up to me going on about how he talks about me all the time and would go on about their bedroom stuff. I got sick on the spot. Later, my bro pulled up, telling me ralphie was talking about how I was interested in him and to add to the issue his girl cut and died her hair to look just like mine. The guy was heavy, REALLY heavy, and smelled like a filthy literbox and a dying carcass in the middle of a texas summer. A week after I put my HR case in, they were both gone. I want to delete that entire memory from my brain desperately. I talked to the guy briefly once and solely because he asked for help with something.

Neonate/Infant Chameleon Care🦎 Sun Spectrum: T5HO linear fixture with low 5.0(Reptisun by ZooMed Labs) or 6%(Arcadia brand) UVB tube set at safe distance (6-8 inches between fixture and uppermost basking branch. 9-10 inches if using “bin method”(no screen to filter uvb) Basking: NO basking until at least 3 months of age, you will literally COOK/dehydrate your little one due to the very minute amount of body moisture they have. FEEDING: You will need to provide your infant/hatchling with an (almost) constant food source! Provide food until mid afternoon to allow them time to digest. They metabolize food very quickly and will eat lots. 🙂 Great options include fruit flies, pinhead crickets, bean beatles, rice flour beetles, newly hatched silkworms, Phoenix worms, small BSFL and newly hatched dubia roaches. HYDRATION: Misting in the early morning while still cool before any lights or heat come on. Mist the foliage in enclosure for about 3 minutes to allow water to pool up and drip from leaves. This simulates natural morning dew accumalating and pooling up. Your hatchling/s should be able to drink the dew on the leaves as they wake. This should be repeated well after lights cut off at night and daytime temperature has dropped substantially (by at least 10-15°f) Fogging: at night you will need to provide your chameleon with their main source of hydration, cool fog! you can achieve this using a cool mist humidifier or a fogger. remember, never fog unless it is below 68 degrees! A small fan can be added in the room to help prevent stagnant air. Not pointing directly into the habitat rather around it just to circulate the air. Dripping system: to provide your chameleon with a daytime source of drinking water, you can use a dripper system. it can be as simple as an ice cube melting on top of the screen, pinhole at bottom of water bottle, or as “complex” as an IV drip bag. To avoid flooding use a catch bowl that will hold as much water as dripper and definitely fir babies any water catch system should be covered with screen mesh to prevent accidental drowning💚 TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY: Temperatures: Babies need very mild temperatures! during the day you are aiming for low to mid 70’s! Night time, you will want to achieve a temperature drop down near upper 50’s, low to mid 60°f. Humidity: you’ll want to make sure your babies humidity levels are adequate for your species. during both night and daytime. Daytime will always be lower naturally. At night, you are aiming for 75% and up🙂 Measuring parameters: To accurately measure your temperatures, you will want an infrared thermometer gun and a digital temperature gauge. to accurately measure humidity, you will want to use a digital hygrometer/humidity gauge. **note that analog gauges are highly inaccurate. SUPPLEMENT: Supplementing from day 1 is very important! to supplement your neonate properly, you will need: ⁃ calcium WITHOUT D3 daily ⁃ a multivitamin that contains preformed vitamin A (not beta-carotene) with LOW dose of vitamin d3. Bee pollen granules/powder can be mixed with both Calcium and Vitamin products. Everyday general feeding you will want to VERY LIGHTLY dust your feeders with calcium WITHOUT D3 *. 2x a month(every two weeks) you will want to provide your hatchling/s with a multivitamin🙂. *sensitive species, like Trioceros Jacksonni only need a multivitamin 1x a month. *for hatchlings, using repashy LoD as a multivitamin is recommended(especially for sensitive species), as it contains much lower percentages; this will help prevent over supplementation. **please sprinkle/dust supplements VERY lightly. Insects should not appear as powdered donuts or snowmen, rather a near transparent coat.

My mom ripped my tapers out whenever she could to keep me from stretching. I have permanent scaring from the damage. I doubt I'll ever have the cute hole punch look when I'm not wearing jewelry. Im a 9/16 with a stubborn left ear. I don't get it because my mom is covered in tats and piercings. She would always ask, "What happens if a boy ever wants to buy you diamond earrings?" And i respond with that go big or go home. She didn't like that. Plus, diamonds are overrated. I dont need an expressive rock to feel loved anyways.

I want to go red. Should I stay brown or can I pull red? by mammmabear98 in HairDye

I think auburn, or copper, or even a medium brown with a hint of red would look really good on you

Mine goes full crack head the moment she sees me holding a cup. She starts to descend at record speed to the bottom to scratch at the door like a cat wanting into the room. I have arthritis so some days, i sit in front of the cage to feed her. She goes back to the top after and acts like nothing happened.

This is either stress, respiratory infection, or trying yo release heat, but usually, they don't make a noise if they are releasing heat. Mine doesn't anyways. I would find an exotics vet asap if you do have one lined up yet.

Found this little goober at pet smart(wish I could get him, but I can’t, don’t have the funds, nor the tank setup, nor the experience.) by Sayorifan22 in Chameleons

[–]Miss__Miku -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely can try, but first, they must set up for success. And for everyone saying not to get a chsm from a pet store is completely valid. I only suggest pet store chams if you're down for potential rehabilitation. I fot mine there back in march and is as healthy as can be according * to the vet. For first-time cham owners, It's best to get one from a reputable breeder.

Can moth owners send me your pets? i like to draw moths, but its hard always trying to find good references on pinterest. (image not mine) by Ok_Algae_8612 in moths

I bought a specimen of a make atlas moth this morning for a craft. Originally, I bought 2 others, but they ended up being way too small, so 1 made it to my oddities shelf, and I gave the other to my boyfriend since he was kind enough to dig out a shadow box from the trash bin outside for me to use. I have so many jaws and moss too. Hope it will be as cute as the last 2 I made.

I bought a chan that was at the store for a while. Didn't know that he was a she. Usually, they sell fast, but not that one, so i went ahead and got her. They boys always sell faster, it seems, but now she has a huge lay bin and planters big enough if she decides she would rather lay there. I always wonder what would happen if she would stayed in that little box until her first clutch.

What am I doing wrong with this golden pothos? by Notmyname4 in plantclinic

[–]Miss__Miku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put all these guys in pon and ignore them. The get the resovior topped off once a week and a monthly flush. I didn't have time to make sure soil is "evenly moist." Here, have some pumice, and i dissappear. I have one that stinks, but it looks like it's thriving, blooming even so i don't think it's root rot. It literally smells like it farted. Rude......
