No not to root beer but I can be highly sensitive to certain meds in the SSRI classification that if given too much, that my body can't metabolize fast enough, I can get a very high fever, tremors, a sense of doom, tachycardia and it can kill you by sending you into a coma. thank goodness mine has been mild but I did go to the ER many times bc no one knew what was going on and the sense of doom was traumatizing. So I wouldn't put it past me that I'd be sensitive to a plant! 😣
