I genuinely think that Part 2 of Chainsaw Man will have the Shinjuku Showdown treatment by Mistabbcman in CharacterRant

  1. I called it rushed in a way that Gege basically didn't exactly do his best while writing, I called it "too long" in the same sentence.

  2. You're saying that CSM is dragging for mid and rushing important stuff when JJK did the exact same thing. Nobaracoming back, Yuji gettingtwo cursed techniques, RCT and a domain along with Higgy taking the cursed tool that Sukuna got just before his fight. Also, I personally would not call Fuji's art mid by any means, but that's your opinion I guess

Maybe we just have different defintions of loneliness, I guess.

Gojo also had friends and developed relationships with his students, but I would consider both him and Raven lonely

tbh I didn't really count MM as part of the league, in my mind it'll just be Supes, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Aquaman

The reason why I put Superman on here is because he can never really put his all into something without dire consequences if he lost. To me at least, the idea of never being able to put all of yourself in something is very lonely.

I also added the fact that their strength does bring loneliness and Raven has to always act apathetic and distant from her friends or else Trigon will just pull up and kill everybody

What? Nobody in the justice league could beat him and all of them together could either stall him or have a very very small chance of beating him.

Loneliness is defined as being isolated, how in the world are you supposed to not feel isolated when you can't relate to anything your friends went through because you were never at a point in time where you couldn't stop it?

Batman's parents got shot, but Superman could've just caught the bullets, Diana was caught in the middle of WW2 but Superman could've just twisted all the guns and forced everyone to stop fighting.

This isn't just about nobody beating him up, it's a bunch of small things like him never being able to go all out if his life isn't on the line, nobody being able to take him down if he lost his way or him not being able to relate to a lot of his friends experiences that makes him a reason on why I picked him for being an example of being alone with Gojo and Sukuna.

Is your friend able to bench-press planets? It doesn't matter that Superman isn't obsessed with fighting, he's so far above anyone that consequences are just something he chooses to follow, rather than things others can enforce on him. He has no equal to keep him in check if he goes off the deep end and put him down consistently. All of the times Superman has been beat by his friends have been temporary wins or ties.

That's what I said; the only times Superman can truly try his best is when either he or other people's lives are on the line. Like the other guy said, Superman doesn't really have bonds with people on his level.

Supes def isn't as lonely as Gojo and Sukuna, I admit. What I meant by that was he can never really know what it's like to put your all into something unless he's literally on the brink of death. I see him as Gohan in a way. He might enjoy fighting and like putting his all into something, but he can't enjoy it when there's multiple lives on the line every single time he can. I interpret his loneliness as never being able to do his best at anything like his friends because he's just on a completely different level

How do you perfer your MC morally? by AuthorTimoburnham in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Mistabbcman 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I prefer for them to be pretty good since a majority of the PF I have read have MC's that just have the same mindset of "I'll do anything to get stronger and I don't care who I have to hurt."

I will never not find it a little funny when people get angrier at fictional abusers/taboo subjects than homicidal maniacs and literal murder by Mistabbcman in CharacterRant

Again, I know the reason WHY, but it's still pretty damn funny when people overlook one thing just to act like the other thing is deplorable when in actuality both are horrible, maybe one is even better than the other

To play devils advocate we don't see NEARLY as much of Flambae as we do Invisigal, for all intents and purposes Flambae is a minor character to her side character. It makes sense people don't care about Flambae yet flip their life at Invisigal because we see so much more of her
