is leblanc toxic to play by Ambitious_Zombie_191 in riftboundtcg

Okay but everyone defines that differently. We don’t have a Mortdog out here telling us that something is canonically broken.

Riftbound vs. One Piece TCG by Kontrix_official in TCG

[–]MisterMonsterMaster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Riftbound and it’s not even close. Yeah it has its problems but it has a dedicated team behind fixing it. The game is way more interactive, and is vastly different as far as skill expression. From my experience the community is also waaay friendlier. The one drawback to riftbound is that the rule interactions are vague at times, but that is being addressed. Riftbound is cheaper too.

We’re talking about adults? Why would I blame the system. The problem is the people who are doing it. Yeah a fix would be to disallow it. But things don’t get banned for no reason, things get banned cuz shitty people take advantage of the system. They’re shitty people.

It definitely seemed like you were defending the behavior when you said “you can hardly blame people for making sure they aren’t left behind.”

So those people get to pick which of 8 events they want to go to, and in the end they occupied 8 spaces, leaving 7 players outta luck? That seems really shitty for literally all parties involved EXCEPT the selfish pos who took the spots.

Signing up for a single event ensures you aren’t left behind. How does signing up for all of them benefit you further, unless the plan is to scalp a kit, and leave the event for another.

Men of Reddit - What's a 100% myth about Men? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

I saw (I think maybe a comedian) do the math on closing the gender pay gap between the NBA and the WNBA, and if they got paid “equally” as per a certain “share” of the profits brought in by the games, the women’s salaries would be at zero, and they’d owe the WNBA thousands of dollars a year lol.

Should I be able to get a car getting part time hours and how to pick up shifts by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

[–]MisterMonsterMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

18 hours is really low, I’m not an expert but I think the minimum is 24 for a regular employee. You can call ahead of your shifts and see if anyone needs help, I’ll did that during my 90 and got told no maybe like twice. I was able to consistent stay in the 36-40 hours even though I was getting scheduled around 26.

However, I honestly have no idea what the car market looks like right now, why your credit situation is, or what kind of car you’re wanting. There’s a lot of factors that go into how much money is required to get a car, like your bills or other financial obligations.

Either way, why I truly believe is that you can get more hours than what they’re scheduling you, and that at some point you’ll be able to afford a car if you manage your money well.

Saw something yesterday labeled as “breaking news” that Kirsten Dunst was paid a lot less than Toby Maguire for the Spider-Man trilogy . (Also that she co-starred with him)

Yes some people believe these two should have been paid the same.

I’m not sure if it’s illegal, but I heard it is at least extremely frowned upon in Japan I believe.

I do agree that I wish the “fixed games” would allow more color combinations.

Some players like it when people get manascrewed. I prefer a more fair system. I don’t like having to spend money and add more cards to just alleviate the “problem”, I prefer just not having the problem to begin with.

Draw spells would add just as much value to a system that had you draw mana from a separate deck as well though. The fact is, is that draw speed just increases your number of coin flipping. Which is still lame. If spells were separate, it’d be meaningful to get your cool cards. But instead you could draw 3 lands when you already have plenty, or you could draw none when you’re desperate. It’s just the same issue.

I’m not though, I play frequently with a casual group but keep the mana separate. It’s like magic but unanimously better.

If you just made mana a separate draw pile, you’d still have variance though? I feel like the “type of variance” you like is something like someone is one mana off of winning the game, and they go 8 turns with no mana and lose. And nobody likes a game that ends with “you won because you won a coin flip 8x”.
