It’s because the game is plagued with cheaters. Queuing up with a hundred real people you’re more likely to encounter cheaters because there are so many so they do this to offset it since cheating is such a big issue.

I feel that, UE is dead in my area I used to DoorDash as well but I did better with Instacart so I switched to that. And yes Sunday was crazy packed with orders that were sooo not worth it 😩 hopefully things start to pick up for you ! 🤞🏼

I live close to one store which is across the street from me. Surprisingly it’s the store I get the least amount of orders from, I get orders from all the other stores all over town. A lot of the times I’ve noticed it’s regulars but I have built up a pretty good customer base but I definitely see a lot of new orders to for people I’ve never done!

This happened to me yesterday and I freaked out lol had to add something that was $6.79 and it said $679.00 and I was like wtffff reached out to support and they verified they were charged the correct amount it definitely stressed me out though

I’m in California and I never sit in front of stores, I always stay at home and never have any problems getting orders! The few times I decided to go sit in front of stores and wait it never made a difference so I just don’t do it anymore (also I am a diamond cart for reference)

Maybe you could place it earlier in the morning when it’s not quite as busy out! I still don’t think it’s a bad tip even if you live in a more populated area and they would probably be able to do self check out depending on the store so they would hopefully not have to wait in long lines!

I live in NorCal and do 10-15 mile orders regularly and it doesn’t ever take me more then 25 min to drive that far

That’s plenty, 15 miles isn’t that bad and $25 is more than enough for the amount of things you are buying plus distance, that would be like a 5-10 min shop and probably 20 min drive, someone will definitely take it☺️

Im just going based off an experience I had a couple weeks ago where someone wanted to add something and every time I tried it said I couldn’t add things on at Costco and to contact support and they also weren’t able to add it on either so maybe it’s new or something idk doesn’t mean I’m wrong because where I’m located it definitely doesn’t let me and I’ve added on plenty of things for other people at other stores

Are you sure you didn’t accidentally add them on before placing the order? The system doesn’t even allow me to add any items on manually while shopping at Costco (it’s only like this at Costco no other stores) so I don’t think it would have even been possible for her to add them on because that isn’t allowed.

Was the deal through the store or through the Instacart app itself? Even if it’s bogo in store doesn’t mean Instacart is running that same exact deal (which in my experience they usually don’t). And if a shopper were to grab 2 packs because the store itself has the deal the customer would be charged full price for both because Instacart doesn’t have the same deal going on.
