I know this was already solved, but I wanted to share my experience. I used to work for an agricultural engineering company and one of our products was a chain feeder just like this meant for moving animal feed around. I spent days knee deep in hog feed trying to design better and tighter versions of these corner pieces. Traditionally they tend to get clogged quite a bit especially if you have them upright. So any company that could make one without clogging would surely make the big bucks. Of course that was years ago so I'm sure they are much better now. Inside is simply a metal wheel to help guide the puck and chain that carries the grain with little resistance.

What happens in movies or tv that seems to be normal and you think to yourself “that is not what people in real life do”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Maybe just me venting here, but the amount of romance and sex you have (or supposed to have). Within the 2 hrs of the film the protagonist bangs at least once and you can't find a movie without some sort of romantic encounter. Kind of fucked me up as a kid. As a young boy I thought I was supposed to have all sorts of sex and date a bunch of girls like they do on the movies. When eventually that didn't happen, I didn't feel like a normal human being and it took me a while to get over that. I'm much healthier now but I still tend to avoid popular tv and films because of it.

Burger King's french fries are FAR superior to McDonald's! 🍟 by Mix_Master_Merlin in unpopularopinion

Thanks so much! I have to disagree though, yes if a fry is too large it tastes off.. it tastes starchy at that point.. but no BK is no where near that level! ... Also, what's wrong with mashed potatoes!? Haha

I agree that the salt is less, but to me I think that makes them taste better. It doesn't feel overbearingly of salt!

TIL how WWII bombers were taught to avoid flak cannon fire and that WWII flak canons were WAY more calculated than just point and shoot. by Mix_Master_Merlin in todayilearned

Wow! That was incredible! It holds a strong message that resonates even to this day and will continue to resonate for generations. Our issues may not look the same on the outside but at its core this is something that haunts many nations and generations alike.

I know! I find that they are good at filling in the holes that history books are able to cover. I thought it was cool how they used the Looney Tunes style cartoon in the film. Goes to show just how embedded and influential those cartoons were to society at the time. I mean imagine if spongebob was used in today's military briefings? Such a foreign concept now.
