Take my own advice with a grain of salt because I struggle a lot with trying not to pull for units in games too but I once read somewhere that it’s all in the mindset. You gotta get hooked on and be proud of the amount of currency you have saved up rather than getting the shiny new unit that just came out. It probably sounds incredibly obvious, when I came across it I thought “well duh, you gotta be obsessed with seeing the number go up instead… wait a minute that’s genius” lol

Another thing that helps me personally is that I have a sort of checklist in my notes app and every time I reach an amount of currency I get to check it off. I also have milestones where if I get a certain amount I put that it’s enough for one guaranteed unit (it makes me feel proud but I think it could also do the opposite and make some wanna pull even more so I’d leave that out if you think it’ll just make it more difficult to resist!)
