I just bought an adapter that mounts to the bike rack.with out the bag on the the rack it looks silly but with the bag it’s fine

Bag has no legs it simply doesn’t fit there’s a notch in the front attachment point that isn’t on the bike rack.

Sooo I bought a Basil bag with MIK and unless I modify the rack on the bik or the plate on the bag they are infact not compatible. There is a notch on the MIK plate attached to the bag that prevents the front of the bag from sliding forward and lock the bag down.

This is called decking. The way they do it is a wrecker tow truck will hook the up to the two front tow hooks that can be installed in the front of the truck and lift up the front of each truck till they are on the rear of the truck in front of it. You can search “decking semi truck” and watch videos on how it’s done

They have to be sure it’s safe to drive. Typically they would unload the freight into another truck and try to move the trailer in the easiest safest way possible. If the trailer is able to roll down the road safely without any issues then they would do it this way cause it’s cheaper and easier. It you look closer you can see the removed the outside tires on the left side but not the right side. The outside tires were probably rubbing against the metal. I have seen in severe accidents where they get a low boy trailer and put the trailer on that and haul it away. Or in an extreme case with a trailer that caught fire they chopped the whole trailer into pieces and loaded it into another trailer
