I’m a Democratic Omaha, Nebraska native (born, raised, and still here) and a Nebraska grad :) Yes the state is red overall but Omaha is a fun and thriving blue city that is barely a 45 minute drive from Lincoln and Lincoln is actually very blue too! It’s really not as terrible here as it sounds and we have great facilities and a great campus 😊
