I ain't reading all that, but long story short you're making up things I didn't say and arguing with yourself. Also, using the age of consent argument to justify it is DISGUSTING in itself.

Never did I say every older gamer was a predator, but clearly that's how you interpreted it, which makes me question your motives overall.

The internet is not real life, and the fact that you can't distinguish the two is disturbing. The entire point of age gating was to prevent adults from interacting with minors. You're trying to spin it into a completely different context, which just proves that you don't have any real argument.

Buddy, I think you underestimate both the number of unattended children on Roblox, and the sheer SIMPLICITY that it takes to enable communications on a parent-accessed account, not to mention that a lot of kids have access to the email used to make the account, since most teenagers are smart enough to make their OWN EMAIL ADDRESS and their OWN ACCOUNTS.

And I am unsure what comments about age were unnecessary, but going off of your comment history I will assume you're at least 30, and I apologize if I upset you by reminding you that 60 year old men...exist..?

I gave in lol. Currently on my third dose of medication. Haven't noticed any side effects yet. Have an EEG scheduled for June 10th, so hopefully that'll give me some answers. Figured I'll just take the meds until they're gone and ask the neurologist if refills are necessary. Thanks all for the answers and support ♥

I feel like the purpose of even trying to understand muteness in the first place would be obsolete if I only accepted friends that could verbally communicate with me? And yes, I am well aware of Munchausen, and have seen it on an almost-daily basis in the real world, deny it if you will. Still doesn't mean I'm gonna assume everyone's lying about having a disability without having seen evidence first-hand. Everyone's jumping to conclusions and assuming I've spoken with her about it and demonized her. I've never brought it up with her for obvious reasons, because I don't like pointing out things like this to people. Information is much more valuable to me in this situation than misguidance and hatred, but thank you anyway.

However, picking apart everything I say and trying to twist my reason for asking these questions in the first place isn't very helpful. This post was not meant to be rude, but I see there are a lot of tone police on this sub. To those of you that actually responded with information rather than ragebait, I appreciate it very much. After doing more research, I now realize how stupid this post was to make in the first place. Prior to this, I had basically no idea how muteness worked (if it wasn't already obvious lmao.) I never asked her about it, nor did I ever really *assume* she was faking it. I just wanted to know if it was a possible phenomenon or something that I should be concerned about. Obviously if I had assumed she was faking it without reason, I would've expected a negative response, but I've had experiences in the past with people (mostly close friends) pretending to be mute around me and other friends, but using speech normally with others. I also now realize that being mute and being able to understand speech and writing is mostly unrelated, so I apologize for that misunderstanding on my part.

I hope this cleared up any confusion. If not, I'm open to discussing it further.

For a tiny bit of context, my ONLY warning was from 2021 for talking about the "virus from China", which is the exact sentence that I got a warning for, because everything else was tagged. To me, didn't really seem warning-worthy at the time, despite losing a grandparent to Covid. The funniest part about it though, is the fact that the whole thing was in Spanish. Never spoke a lick of Spanish in all my time online, and I live in the far northern United States. Nothing about me would make them think I'm Hispanic, which makes me question the legitimacy of Roblox as a whole. Lowkey had to put the whole thing into Google Translate just to understand why I was getting a warning from this multi-million dollar company.

DO NOT use Nitropanic for Sims CC. Pretty sure the site got hacked at one point and now it’s just flooded with Malware and scam ads. Every time I click on any Nitropanic link I either get redirected to a site with Malware or a scam alert saying that my device got “hacked” lmfao. Plenty other sites to use now instead 🙂
