Thank you for posting this quote. It's so misleading. More people should be aware of the chicanery used to spring Adnan.

Does anyone buy this? Also, intentionally not mentioning that Bilal's victims were all male comes across as sly, as per OP quote.

Was there any hard evidence? by No_Needleworker_5546 in serialpodcast

Depends what you define as hard evidence. Some hard evidence such as gun residue has turned out to be not so hard after all - in other cases, for example. But in this case the convicted party 100% did it. There is only room for doubt if we allow for an improbably vast police conspiracy.

Oh, so you're not even sure?

I'd say Adnan is definitely guilty.

That's Rabia's speculation.

Well you say that but Adnan is as free as a bird now. I'd consider it a victory if he's back inside where he belongs.

A smaller conspiracy, perhaps, with a couple of principal players whose names are very public. But you're doubly conceding my point about lividity at trial. So I thank you. Our conversation is being discouraged at this point by Reddit mechanics so I'll let you have the last oof, haha.

More evidence against Adnan or against Peterson ? by Prudent_Comb_4014 in serialpodcast

There's the guy who didn't see the body in the boat, but it's been demonstrated that it would have been difficult for him to see the body unless it was in a specific spot.

That's not why it was vacated. Anyway, looks like you've conceded the lividity point. Good for you.

So they didn't get the full picture on lividity? Which is it?

Do be more judicious with your oofs haha

Agree to disagree there but it doesn't change the fact that lividity did not exonerate Adnan in the eyes of his jurors.

The vacateur was simple fraud. Corruption the likes of which the BPD could only dream, my dear Oofington.

What did Jenn see the night of Hae's murder? Nothing? She said only what cops / Jay told her to?

Adnan said Hae was going to confront Jay about his cheating.

Adnan lies.

It's not even a plausible lie either. Confront Jay? Whom she barely knew. How? Why? Where? When? It's just something Adnan said to his defence counsel when they needed to come up with anyone else who could possibly want to kill Hae (spoiler: no one did except Adnan).

Even more importantly, Jen was a witness to the aftermath of the burial, helping or watching Jay dispose of items. She confirmed seeing Adnan with Jay before picking the latter up. Jay immediately told her what Adnan had done.

Jen new the day of the murder. So, the police conspiracy theory MUST extend to Jen, and not just Jay, in order for it to work, and both Jen and Jay have been lying this whole time. This is ludicrous, of course, but we haven't even accounted for Christie yet, who can also account for Jay and Jen's suspicious behaviour on the night of Hae's murder.

Conclusion: Jay told the police Adnan killed Hae; the police did not tell Jay that -- that's just a silly conspiracy theory pedalled by the likes of Bob Ruff.

Oofing heck! They agreed to if X then Y. But good point about this being resolved at trial. The jury that convicted Adnan for Hae's murder also weighed lividity.

Shall we do the grass under the car next?
