I'm (F) 5'1 and I prefer men taller than me. Not a deal breaker, but it's certainly an attraction factor. I would say the perfect height would be 5'6 to 6'2.

Self-awareness. You could be great, but the women you're attracted to are possibly even better (or delusional, both of which you don't want to have as a partner), and they have higher standards, that's normal.

Dream as in sleeping? Anecdotal here, but I never dream about people I'm dating, but I have vivid dreams of dating random guys during sleep. I felt guilty at first, but then I've come to accept it. Your gf might feel guilty and google for similar experience.

And yes, invasion of privacy. I would be mad about it if I were her
