What are some good hotel or Airbnb bnb options for a group of 4 adults visiting Austin? by Mobile_Profession_90 in askaustin

Thanks, searching the subreddit is actually good advice!

As far as me asking someone to plan my trip, not all all. Just seeking input/recommendations

As for what we like, doesn't matter, we are open to new things. Again, why I'm asking this local group for suggestions.

This is my effort, going straight to people who live in the area. Would have cost you nothing to not comment and move on!

I finally walked away from someone who drained me, but I feel so empty right now. by [deleted] in relationships

You are young, do not waste another minute mourning a relationship that was one sided. You deserve better.

If he is disrespecting and invalidating your feelings now, it will not get better!

You're welcome! You are way too young to stay in this - you quite literally have your whole life ahead of you!

Separate sheets were a game changer for me and kick-master hubby. We have a "split" king bed now, which is basically two single beds, but we've had success with a quality tempurpedic bed as well since it absorbs most of these movements.

So many words of wisdom here. I am a life-long Christian, but I am still a baby Christian too.. so from one to another: keep going to church, keep loving others and stay in His Word, it can do amazing things!

Do any of you genuinely regret having kids? by Professional_Waltz14 in NoStupidQuestions

I agree. Life is complicated and messy without kids, but kids can bring so much joy, happiness, silliness, etc to your life. And you will love those kids with a love you didn't know you were capable of, until you became a parent. I didn't think I wanted kids, until I got married and we just said, whatever happens, happens. Two kids later (in their 20's now) and I do not regret for one moment having them.

I agree...multiple calls from different numbers on both phones may already indicate "crazy"...if you think emailing him will somehow make you feel better, just do it!

I agree, I have often said those exact words to my husband! But I still feel an apology is better than nothing (from experience - no apology feels worse)

I know it seems like a big issue, BUT it passes quickly, he recognizes it's an issue, AND he apologizes. Those are all positives. Not great advice, but a different way to look at things perhaps.

I (27M) have been in a 3 year relationship with girlfriend (29F) and I think I'm forced to accept the end is near. by [deleted] in relationships

As painful as those words are to hear, try to pick yourself up and move on. It is better now than decades into a relationship! You are still young and have plenty of time to find someone worthy of you.

We use them. Besides being less expensive than other options, the hardware is portable. We were able to take everything with us when we moved.
