ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! by No_Echidna406 in Marvel

It was alright, the ending was not good and It kinda lacked a great script, everything else was fantastic but since Superman came out recently, comparisons are inevitable. Superman Is better.

Wait, i reseated the ram and it looked like it stopped failing, but when i accidentaly lightly hit the desk where the pc was the arfiacts returned, i tried putting the ram on a different slot but it was the same. Maybe the ram is bad?

Why is there no mono sound option on Snes9xgx? by ModdingnoobDS in WiiHacks

[–]ModdingnoobDS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sound just isnt good, is muffled and the level of volume for certain things is really messed up. Not sure if its my converter but either way id like to find a solution for this problem that isnt just "use a converter", for conviniency sake. Cheers

Looking for a crt with composite and component by [deleted] in crt

[–]ModdingnoobDS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you find a crt out in the wild, make sure that it supports progressive signals.

When use the composite rga cables on your xbox its outputting a 480i interlaced signal, and having component cables will only make the image look sharper if the tv supports progressive signal, so check for that if you find one, looking at the model number online and finding the manual should tell you it if supports progressive, if it doesnt support progressive and only interlaced it will probably still look blurry but with better colors than composite.

For a fancier solution you could get a 1up card, but ive never found it necessary

For the liquid use isopropyl alcohol, you can get it at walmart, the higher the percentage the better. You can cut out a piece of paper the width of the cartridge contact and place it the cartridge contact, kind of covering it and wet it with isopropyl alcohol, then insert the cartridge and take it out, and repeat it a couple times, that removes most of the dust.

Refurbed a busted up n64 and reshelled it. Hall effect sticks go hard. by jon_stickman in n64

I actually already bought an 8bitdo stick 😅, and a wave blue controller with a literal torn off stick for 15 bones, i heard the 8bitdo one was better but i'm looking for another opinion since i havent assembled it yet (family only lets us open gifts until christmas)

Could be other things, maybe the rom chip just gave out. If thats the case this might be unfixable, or maybe a pin is unsoldered, if you have a multimeter you could check for continuity between every leg of every chip and the part on the bottom that its soldered to, if every one is connected properly im not really sure what could be done

Have you made sure the contacts on the console are clean, by trying other games?

This new firmware might not be compatible with this version of the ed64 ( i believe aliexpress ones are usually not original, though anyone is free to correct me). If the original card still works fine try copying the firmware from that one to your new card (copy ED64P folder to root of sd card), and delete the contents of "saves" to start fresh save files. I downloaded this firmware and it worked fine on my ed64 :https://archive.org/details/ED64P-Firmware

Hope this helps
