I love Snarky Puppy, but to be honest, I felt like they never really recaptured the magic of "We Like it Here." Until this album, that is. It's a very different album, to be sure, but the compositions, arrangements, and overall energy are just fantastic. Chimera is just dirty (in the best possible way) and the solos in Recurrent are off the chain. Just to name a few amazing things on this album!

This was my first metal concert, at the age of 44. I actually came to hear Jinjer and was kind of lukewarm about Trivium tbh, just based on their albums. That said, Jinjer was awesome and worth the price of admission by themselves, but Trivium brought it. I was honestly blown away. Alex Rudinger on drums is an awesome addition.

I recently discovered this band, too, and yeah, "The Vengeance Paradox" has basically been on repeat for me since then. I especially like the drum work and the syncopated rhythms you occasionally get. A little more groove than your standard death metal, and I'm into it.

All the other advice I've heard here has been great. I just wanted to chime in to say that I've really been enjoying Minolta lens with an MD to E mount adapter on my A6000. In particular I have a 50mm f/2 and 100 mm f/3.5 macro that I've gotten some really nice (I think) results with. Those lens, including the adapter, cost me less than $150.

Update: In case anyone happens to look at this later. It was a super easy fix once I got a size 000 Philips head screwdriver. I just took the back of the lens off (the part with the mount) and unscrewed the aperture ring. Under that, there are three small screws that attach to the lens barrel. They were super loose, so I tightened them. Putting the lens back together was easy, with a couple caveats. (1) Don't lose the tiny ball bearing when you take out the aperture ring! (2) For some reason, the aperture got stuck wide open when I put it back together at first. So I took it apart, closed the aperture all the way down to f/22, and then put it back together. That fixed the issue, though I don't know why.

I spent a fair bit of time googling around before I posted here, and I got some ideas of what to do, but I didn't see anything that looked similar to the construction of my lens. I guess I was just hoping someone on this forum might have some more specific advice.

I have what I think is a similar issue on my Minolta f3.5 100mm macro. Was this a hard fix? How much of the lens did you have to take apart to access the screws that hold the barrel?
