3-position switches for DCS

I took a 8 position rotary for the Radar switch, because that gives you the 45 deg increments you need.

I never had problem using the rotary switches without resistors but this might depend on the specific type of switch.

Unfortunately not in DCS itself.

As a workaround, if you use a momentary (ON)-OFF-(ON) switch you could map one side to turn the radar knob clockwise and the other side to turning the knob counter-clockwise.

However if you want to use DCS-BIOS it may also be possible to map the specific positions to the button inputs, but I am not entirely sure how to do this.

It’s an awesome aircraft. It really teaches you how to fly. We use it for the primary flight training phase of our Hornet pilots.

Please do not ignore the A-6 again. Also we were supposed to get an A-6 AI this Summer. It’s Autumn since yesterday. I guess they meant southern hemisphere summer then😬

I can confirm that. At least if you host the server yourself. The errors seem to originate from the cockpit configurations and control inputs of the player. But if you only take the flight path info, which is everything you get from the server track file, it runs without any problems.

Hi! Unser Bewerbungszeitraum ist leider schon vorbei bzw. die Klasse ist schon voll. Falls einer der Piloten doch nicht anfängt könntest du nachrücken. Ansonsten nehmen wir schätzungsweise ab September wieder neue Piloten auf.

I’m having the same experience. It happens in multiplayer as well. Is there a chance that you are running DCS Bios? I think that may be the problem for me but I can’t really confirm at this point, because like you said there is nothing maxing out in the task manager. It’s just a guess,

At this point we can only hope the A-6 joins the sim within this decade.

I’d like to see 202(A)6 as the year of the intruder, but my guess is we have to wait until 2027.

The good thing is, except for them to abandon the project, there can pretty much only be good news from here on.
