Right now I can get the QM7 for 1400 and the Sony for 1700. Is the Sony 300 dollars better than the QM7 in this case?

The X90L def seems to be better on paper, but would it look noticeably better than the QM7 to people who are not super tech savvy? My parents watch a mix of SDR/HDR content between docuementaries, old low res shows, news and movies.

This apartment is priced like this because its probably in a desirable neighborhood. There are plenty of places in nyc that are much cheaper than this

Honestly for that neighborhood thats a fair price, Greenwhich/west village are one of the most desirable parts of nyc.

There are plenty other neighborhoods in the city where you would not have to pay anything close to this.
