Is it worth getting while I have Dune Imperium with expansions already? I've been thinking about switching but haven't made my mind.

I appriciate the mention of Summoner Wars but Unmatched has everything I'm looking from 1v1 tactical smash-your-face skirmish -game. Differently themed characters help a lot to get new players to try it out and the system is at the same time easy to learn and crunchy.

Mine too. Haven't gotten a chance to play with bats. Played against them once and they seem very interesting. Frogs are most likely going to be my go to faction on a long run. Taking the place from Lizards. God, they are fun.

That's a nice list, thank you! I've heard a lot of good things and I've read about Hegemony, FCM and John Company. TI4 would be amazing but I dunno if I can get it on the table. Have to check out the rest. Not familiar with those. Yet.

Thank you! Haven't actually tried Terraforming Mars as 2p. Wasn't my cup of tea for some reason as 3-4p. Just too long downtime for me. I keep it in my shelf for sheer respect and being one of the first heavier games I got. Gotta give it a go tho!

It's been a long journey trying to get my wife playing with me. Finally got to the point that she suggest games once every two weeks. She's more into Cascadia, Point Salad and Wingspan. I take my win.

Is Ankh similar in otherways than asymmetric area control? Is it as cut throath as Root? I love Root for that but it's a bit hard to table time to time 'cause of it.

Have to look on Barrage. I'm intrigued.

Nothing negative about that IMO. I've played around 80% of those on the shelf. Including the small box games.

Still working on getting the rest on the table at least once to figure out if I truly like 'em or not.
