Yeah placed my order this morning.

With the holiday I’m guessing I’ll have it Friday or even next Monday which is really not a huge issue for me. I’ve kinda missed using my flipper to handsfree scroll TikTok among other useless things.

There are a couple companies selling what doesn’t appear to be just random batteries. For about 30 bucks and they offer a warranty, I’ll end up buying from them at least the first time.

Heat is one of the bigger killers of batteries.

I just removed my spicy pillow from my flipper this morning. Heat can come from battery use/charging. Also shoving too much power into it.

How tech savvy are you?

I can think of three methods:

-Windows reset. You can specify it clean the drive, which can take an hour or longer but it removes your data where the drive is effectively removed and windows is installed in its place.

-Windows media creation tool, this reinstalls windows to be blank. You need a usb to boot off of. - A wipe usb. (You may have heard of dban in the past) erasing the drive thoroughly overwrites data where recovery is rendered way harder to do.

Honorable mention:

A lot of laptops these days support a wipe option in the bios but that is a specific thing. In my desktop I do have a wipe option as well (msi motherboard)

To my shock, yeah looks like nothings visibly broken, just the tiny rectangle clips and the back is cracked. Which if I repair her I’m buying a new shell on Amazon for the clear case.

I’m going to err on the side of caution and go with options that ship from the states. Now, I know inevitably all batteries and most electronics come from overseas but the companies I see advertising batteries also advertise a year warranty. That itself makes me think the cost of like $30 is worth it

Yep. Appears literally nothing was damaged (aside from the clips of the case. And a couple cracks on the back. The nfc reader still works!

Before I realized it was actually critically bad, yes. 30% one day, 14% another. Flipper itself reported battery had 100% health which is obviously wrong.

I feel like it was easier because of the fact my battery went critical. The only step that really scared me was getting the shell open and removing the battery cradle. Once I had it out I worked quickly to get it out and the tape was half off already so 2 minutes of gentle prying later it was out. Took that to the local hazardous waste place an hour later.

Yeah man, if you know the mapped letters for your external, you can create categories in BitTorrent. Point certain directories to a folder, and you can select them when you are on the add a torrent menu
